Embossing, using solid image and paper piecing .

Hello , welcome , I hope that you  will enjoy your browsing today.
Funny , one thing that I don't like to do is windowshopping . You know , where you go and look in shops and browse through things that you'd like to have but would never buy  for whatever reason.  I just think that it is a total waste of time .
AND YET! I can browse numerous blogs and admire 100's of creations that I would never be able to try out , for whatever reason , and be having a wonderful time . That's not a waste of time ,more an investment .
Some of my non crafting   friends don't understand that at all. What do you think?

Here are three cards I made yesterday  and last night, ready for Sunday card afternoon .

Love these embossing folders Cuttlebug Provo Craft, which can be used with Big Shot too. But I wish that the company would put names on them so that when you are writing recipes you can tell viewers which one you have used . I think the name is on the packaging and I should record these things but , who keeps packaging  and
I would rather spend that time using the folder!
Any way this one is just a Blue gloss card from stash . Whisper White layer with Bashful Blue embossed . I have cut the embossed piece to lengthen it to fit card, placing a white strip over gap. A shorter strip of the blue is added with  the greeting  from set Occasional Greetings SU , inked in Pacific Blue SU . I added a couple of white brads before adhering to card front

Liked this one , as it is a greeting I use quite a lot . I also like solid stamps . Naturals Ivory, SU,  was used as card base with Rich Razzleberry and Old Olive .
DSP on  strips are  from paper set , Haiku , with Old Olive Ribbon SU.
Image  and greeting from set , Pendant Park, SU inked with Chocolate Chip SU.

White Gloss card from stash used as base for this square card.
A textured Lavender card  used for first layer .
The strip of DSP from Cottage Wall, SU, has been  edged with SU scallop edge punch , SU .
The image from Friends 24-7 was inked in Chocholate Chip and paper pieced in Pacific Blue .
The greeting from Defining Alphabet, SU, is inked in Bravo Burgandy,

All in all very happy with these .

As I said earlier in post , I hope that you have enjoyed the visit , please call in again soon .
Cheers ..Shirley-Anne

  1. Three wonderful cards. I particularly like the second one, the solid stamped park bench stands out quite effectively on the lovely orange DP.
