Still on flowers

Hello , hope that your day has been all good . And before I forget ! To all who celebrate the 4th of July , may it be a joyous occasion for you.

I spent some time, today, trying my hand at creating some flowers . I used dsp scraps , scallop circle punches,  1 3/4" and 1 3/8",  circle punch , all SU . I even embossed some before layering . And here's the result.

This last image is of one I tried making out of tissue, actually a serviette.  It  turned out very delicate and pretty . I tore a rough circle from several pieces of tissue , adhered them together . I punched a small circle from green scrap and cut short strips all around it then adhered that to flower centre and added a brad. Then I added a few drops of glitter on petals .
I found some beautiful paper from Graphic 45 and used it with SU stamp Share a Cup.

I began this card with Sage Shadow
and made it a top fold card.
Layering the patterned paper onto some SU dsp
leaving a small border, I adhered to left side of card front . Using Rose Red SU I stamped image onto scrap Sage Shadow .
Then using SU scallop circle punch and a smaller version punched over image ,  I layered the two and placed onto right side .

The last card  to share today is from Taken With Teal , SU and is also a top fold card. This card will demomstrate two step stampin' technique.
Now I did use the Stamp-a-ma-jig but I still got the greeting off line , sorry about that .
I layered strips of Certainly Celery and Bashful Blue to the left. Using Purely Pomegranate ink and Gable Green  marker , I coloured the  solid image from set Heartfelt Thanks . Before stamping onto Whisper White card I placed a piece of scrap just over flower part to take off some of the colour. The stamp-a-ma-jig was used to stamp the outline in same ink but Old Olive marker.
See how the outline is now darker over flower  because I took some of the colour off  first.
The greeting used is  from A little Birthday Cheer inked  with Taken With Teal.
Well , I hope you enjoyed these as I love sharing  and now look forward to seeing you  again soon .
Cheers Shirley-Anne
