Embossing a die cut

Good evening folks . I hope that you have had the most wonderful of weekends .
Welcome to my room ,I'm glad of your company .

When my Mojo leaves me from time to time I find  browsing through my favourite craft magazines. So this afternoon when I came to my room I was prepared to lose myself in the latest  Australian Cardmaking Stamping & Papercraft mag. Was inspired !
Using the idea /layout on ,page 42, designed by Emily McQueen I energetically set out creating another card for my workshop on Tuesday.
Here is the result , hope you like it .
                                                                     Recipe
Designer Series Paper , Sweet Slumber Specialty for card.
Old Olive and Whisper White card
Swirl embossing folder , Oval punch , SU.
                                                             SU Sizzix Beautiful Butterflys
                                                            Sentiment ,Trendy Trees.Real Red Marker.
White ribbon from stash . Glue dot
                                                              Martha Stewart border punch
                                                            SU Jewels Basic Rhinestones.

I cut a strip from DSP and punched edge and adhered to card front with foam tape.
I made bow and used glue dot to place on strip . After diecutting the butterfly I ran it through my Cuttlebug with the swirl folder and adhered that with foam tape as well, embellishing with some rhinestones . Then, stamped the sentiment punching it out and using doublesided tape to adhere.
Was quite happy with it's simplisity so my day ended happily .
Hope you like it too.
Catch you again soon , cheers for now Shirley-Anne.
