  2. Hi Shirley Anne
Thanks for entering Maybe it would have looked better without the bells, I also wonder if the sentiment was to be in red, it would lift the red of the berries. Oh it;s so easy to sit here and say what iff...only suggestions as you said you aren't happy
    Thanks so much for entering

  3. Hi Shirley Anne - what a great idea. I love the holly - but as Mandi says maybe without the bells. I do love the little red berries though.
You are the queen of Christmas cards

  5. I think the others may have hit the nail on the head with the bells. However, you must have liked them when you placed them so maybe it's only the colour of the bells . . . perhaps gold? Other than that, your card is lovely

  9. Hi Shirley Anne,
It's great to see another submission from you! I wonder why you are not too happy with this one?
I think I would have stuck to one colour for the bells if you wished to include them.
A good way of using a wheel with different colours is to stamp with Versamark and then use Pastels to add colour. You can apply it to small areas using a Q tip (cotton bud). It is really effective. There is a card on my personal blog where I used this technique if you would like to check it out!
This is a very attractive design however!
    See you next time!

  10. Shirley Anne...I love the holly stamp. Are the bells part of the stamp or did you add them? I probably would have stuck with just a red and green theme...but it's still a lovely card,AND you have one more Christmas card ready well ahead of time! LOL!

  11. Great card - but Oh! Xmas already, I so admire anyone who thinks of it early, my earliest is October (sometimes it's Nov)

  12. Christmas cards sometimes look too over the top and fussy - I like the CAS look of this one and may well use it for some of my own - thanks for the inspiration x
