Monday with Bugaboo

                  HI  THERE.
Another Monday and another Linky Party.  So welcome to my room ,thank you for calling in . Hello and thank you  to the new followers of my blog . Please leave a link to your blog in a comment so I can visit you too .

Now I don't know where this week has gone . After working in our own businesses, 7 days a week  for too many years and having to be ultra organised you would think that retirement would be a breeze. I mean we no longer have opening or  closing times ,worries about absent staff or rosters , or  book work to fit in between raising three children .We can lie in till 7am and have meals when we are hungry and go to bed late if we choose .
Apart from being a full time carer for Doug , my time is really my own . But do you know , I think that I manage to fit less in my day now than I ever have . Are there any retirees out there that  understand and can explain ? Before I know it the week has gone and I have only managed two posts .

But again I digress, when I meant to jump right into this post with gusto!!  I say that because I really love Mondays when I  can share a card with you , my pick from last week's entries and this new week's prize .

My card for this week on Make it Monday  is ..

Sorry about the glare .Just could not find an angle that worked .
                                                        Better for the inside .
I loved these two images ,The Side Chair and the Rose Can from Bugaboo ,so much that I combined them for this card. The card  base is from my stash of gloss card and  images were printed onto Whisper White . I coloured with copics.. The sentiment is from Stamp-it. The butterflies are left overs from a punch session with a MS punch.
Our fab sponsor this week is

Everything That You Ever Wanted to Know About Bugaboo Stamps: A Short Essay

"As if raising five children in the frozen land of the North was not enough of a challenge, Jodie Mackrell decided to dip her cold little Canadian toes into the world of papercrafting by opening an online store full of her illustrations. That was two years ago. Today Bugaboo Stamps is one of the leading companies in digital images, and we're still growing! From seriously snarky to sugary sweet to sublimely soulful all the way over to the other side of the super sexy spectrum, you're bound to find all that you need and more to create your paper projects. Jodie works very hard to provide New Releases and Freebies every week! "

If your taste runs to rubber (and you know who you are), you can find Bugaboo Stamps at Totally Stampalicious. And finally, join the Bugaboo Stamps DT for weekly challenges at Catch the Bug.

Bugaboo Stamps are offering a very generous prize of winner's choice of 7 single digis!

Remember, to be in the running to win the prize from our sponsor this week just leave a comment for another entry. Be sure to mention you saw them on Make It Monday. The more entries you comment on the more chances you have of winning!
I do hope that you will call into my teamies blogs to share some blog love too.
Thanks to all the bloggers who joined in last week to share their papercraft projects with us .I think much of my time goes on trawling through some amazing artists' work.
So hard to choose but this was " it" #108

Be thankful for the difficult times.
                                                During those times you  grow.

  10. So, what you're saying is...don't retire? Enjoy relaxing now because it only gets crazier??? OMG...is that really possible? I thought the kids flew the coop, the retirement check comes in and you travel? Well that fantasy has burst. LOL! Back to the grind we go then.
Your card is exceptionally pretty Shirley-Anne. I love folding chairs like this and to have it for the cover image is perfect. :)

Your POTW...super amazing coloring on this one. What a very talented lady. :)

  15. Shirley-Anne, I love the simplicity of this card and the stamped image on the inside! I always think that the inside is as important as what we put on the front. You have the lightest touch and blend colours so beautifully. And you have such a diverse and broad range of techniques and ideas. Thanks for sharing and inspiring.
