Using stash

Another post for the week ..going well !!
Hi there,  welcome to my room .  Gosh I am glad to see you . Hope that you let me know that you have been so I can repay the visit . I do appreciate the comments thank you .
Went for our usual coffee and scones this morning . Fran and Sandy called into cafe to share some time with us . I think they like the scones too .
Sandy had her grandchildren with her and they were perfect little angels as they always are .
Well Doug and I went to see some of Doug's friends after Fran and Sandy left , then we did some grocery shopping . Was too busy in shops for us [ Doug in his motorised wheel chair has trouble negotiating around shoppers who stand chatting  in isles with trollys together]

As it was a beautiful sunny afternoon we took  the dogs to the park . Twiggy and Jacki are veteran gopher riders now .
There was just enough time to make a card before starting dinner

Now this looks like paper strip is crooked but believe me it is just the angle of photo as I do measure everything . I am still using up scraps of paper from my stash.  These papers are from a
12x12  pad  I've had forever. Might have to start throwing out some smaller pieces !!
                                                                     and inside

Here I added a layer of card same as  card base , Very Vanilla.
I cut out one of the stripes from the paper and adhered it to layer .

A simple CAS card , not too much in it , but enough to satisfy my need for instant
                                      craft gratification .

Now for my quote for tonight ..

Better be off now and check out the Make it Monday entries and leave some blog love there-in .

Catch you again soon , cheers for now , Shirley-Anne.

The card is CAS and that is what makes it special.
