Monday with Cupcake Cards & Craft

Hi there. Welcome to my room . Thank you for calling in .
Did you have a fabulous week end ? Hope so .
I don't know why, but I just cannot get into the frame of mind needed to organize that which I need to do for Christmas . No addressing of cards yet , no stocking up of food stuff or extra cleaning of windows . You know what I mean ?
Doug will be 75 on the 23rd of December and I have not made his card yet !!!

Maybe I will be inspired by this week at the Make it Monday linky party , where I  just know that I will get to  see many great cards to get me motivated.
My card to share this week is

and inside..

All card and paper from my stash . The sentiment from Stamp-It.
I am trying to replenish my collection of sympathy cards ..see previous post.
Our sponsor for this week is

Prize is a paper pack of the winners choice.
Remember, to be in the running to win the prize from our sponsor this week just leave a comment for another entry. Be sure to mention you saw them on Make It Monday. The more entries you comment on the more chances you have of winning!
And of course there is the chance that you will be chosen by one of the DT as their pick of the week ..

But this week there is an addition to the party....

Special Sponsor
Visions of Sugarplums
Lori Hairston and Lisa Minckler
co-hosting a blog hop together with many participants and available prizes.
* Lori is gifting a $20 Visa Card to a winner at MIM who comments on her VOSP links and
mentions that they came over from MIM.
Winner will be announced on regular post day at MIM.

There will be many other opportunities for prizes, but in order to win the gift offered by Lori
at MIM, participants MUST comment on her links and mention MIM, but they are also free
to play along with all the other links as well.
There will be more details / links about this on the Make it Monday  post .

Congrats to winners from last week

Now for my absolute favourite part of DT duty.

  13. Shirley-Anne I am with you. Christmas came so fast this year that it feels forced to me and I don't do forced well lol. Guess it will get done eventually but I'm not making any promises. ;-) Your sympathy card is so pretty and great POTW! Have a great week, hugs.

  14. Your choice of colors and design is so appropriate for a condolence card, I think this of cards is tricky to do, so thanks for the inspiration.

  15. A beautiful soft card for a difficult occasion. I'm sitting here in the freezing UK trying to imagine it being hot enough to need a fan!

  16. You've been so busy!
Catching up on my reading, and it's too bad a person can't keep up a decent stash of Sympathy cards!

  17. Do you think it's because there's just soooo much to do, it's a natural human reaction to opt for shutting down instead?? LOL..I know whenever I start thinking of all I have to do, I find myself laying down to take a nap. Perhaps it's that childlike desire to test the theory of little elves. Maybe THIS time when I wake up ALL the chores and cooking and decorating and shopping will be done! ;)
Shirley-anne your card is WONDERFUL and your POTW is so extremely festive and cheerful too. Hugs to you and Happy Early Birthday to the hubby.
