I hope that you and yours are well or if you have been unwell, then I hope that you are on the improving list .</span></p><p><span style="font-size: large;">Today I have 2 cards to share . They are really simple , quite plain actually . I began both with a SU basic thick white card base with a smaller piece of same thick white card .</span></p><p><span style="font-size: large;">The first card has a sentiment "just a note" from Everyday Messages Stamp set , www.stampendous.com while the image is an old favorite from Penny Black , called Fragrant Letter . The lovely wooden heart embellishment was a gift from a swap card friend , Karen Chuck .</span></p><p><span style="font-size: large;"> I colored flowers with yellow shades of Copic pens .The letter itself was smooched with water color pencil . I rubbed the pencil onto a stamp block and added a couple of drops of water then with a wide brush head I picked up the color and smooched the edges of the letter. </span></p><p><span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjbHmI2MG-q5I5e_0-fVxeZ2lloHlqtWkkAUumNL2s11Idjs9zFkcPesBj1lBeqobeQeww0mQhZRGchzudrdVDNfkRL_hU_qk1w50Y-OIjdwIapUapaDkXXXcJEVYpLLH89jGJWKagHx7E6JwvFr9qtzfnEXFoFpFyaaD7ZkYeaUvQGg80d1I9GSS46Pq67/s1754/P1050126.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1543" data-original-width="1754" height="282" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjbHmI2MG-q5I5e_0-fVxeZ2lloHlqtWkkAUumNL2s11Idjs9zFkcPesBj1lBeqobeQeww0mQhZRGchzudrdVDNfkRL_hU_qk1w50Y-OIjdwIapUapaDkXXXcJEVYpLLH89jGJWKagHx7E6JwvFr9qtzfnEXFoFpFyaaD7ZkYeaUvQGg80d1I9GSS46Pq67/s320/P1050126.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: large;">My second share </span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"> <a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjbMefEd929Os3Y4RJauCC09SjAE5UVg6ygeOtUcechX0kbw6ymrbUHmFojfGqGWtnamSL1dkza1ILRuqmLDzSbNW9dhWvL7GeLN9IrjRAVkG9aTcLwt6mNhM7m9XVXwquQF7x4LgVrUnyPrLgLaxrikWnzrtbpylL5nv7OSL6-aJrsGrv2YZL3t2J18BpN/s1940/P1050133x2.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1427" data-original-width="1940" height="235" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjbMefEd929Os3Y4RJauCC09SjAE5UVg6ygeOtUcechX0kbw6ymrbUHmFojfGqGWtnamSL1dkza1ILRuqmLDzSbNW9dhWvL7GeLN9IrjRAVkG9aTcLwt6mNhM7m9XVXwquQF7x4LgVrUnyPrLgLaxrikWnzrtbpylL5nv7OSL6-aJrsGrv2YZL3t2J18BpN/s320/P1050133x2.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><br /> <p></p><p><span style="font-size: large;"> The fruit image and the sentiment are from </span><span style="font-size: x-large;"> a freebie in a magazine along with a matching die. I stamped one image direct to the layering card , the other I stamped on scrap , colored and diecut adding that with foam dots .</span><span style="font-size: x-large;">For this note card I have added a bit of bling to corners .</span></p><p><span style="font-size: x-large;"> I did enjoy creating these two ..I consider this style to be my favorite to make. So I am hoping that you liked them too .</span></p><p><span style="font-size: x-large;"> Till next time .</span></p><p><span style="font-size: large;"> </span><span style="font-size: medium;"> </span><span style="font-size: large;"> Catch you again soon , Cheers for now, Shirley-Anne. </span></p><p><span style="font-size: x-large;"><br /></span></p><p><span style="font-size: x-large;"><br /></span></p>Shirley-Annehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06203660097242725136noreply@blogger.com7tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3292873967823912389.post-10631732151793464582023-08-29T22:21:00.000+09:302023-08-29T22:21:10.154+09:30Birthday Wishes <p><span style="font-size: large;">Hello and welcome. Doug said no to me going inside for a lap rug .</span></p><p><span style="font-size: large;"><span>So we came inside and while Doug dozed in his chair I checked the mail and set about crafty blogging </span><span> about what I think is a very beautiful creation for a feminine friend .</span></span></p><p><br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi8f0Ijyx8sJspiggfOOoTpiaBznIusWhQ-9HvKcOlOy4mrOX-7R10l4Y12L8DH3AtTxW8KMYiHEjwbygQ4Svqi_cl4bHbsgTrBk_-AINAEuEP8zAAwWwdQ4GbfE0fJ3DituG6U02gMUWEHdQWKz0cTfCx0BXDfY_p4bVGq29wRo5IKBu5a9i-iA1PUiR9l/s2743/P1050122.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2743" data-original-width="2269" height="336" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi8f0Ijyx8sJspiggfOOoTpiaBznIusWhQ-9HvKcOlOy4mrOX-7R10l4Y12L8DH3AtTxW8KMYiHEjwbygQ4Svqi_cl4bHbsgTrBk_-AINAEuEP8zAAwWwdQ4GbfE0fJ3DituG6U02gMUWEHdQWKz0cTfCx0BXDfY_p4bVGq29wRo5IKBu5a9i-iA1PUiR9l/w283-h336/P1050122.JPG" width="283" /></a> </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: large;">Beginning with a soft pink card base I added a smaller , white , embossed layer . As well as that part , I have not joined into a challenge for so long that I hope I remember how to use the linky thing . </p><p>I would like to enter this card in the <span style="color: red;">https://movingalongwiththetimes.blogspot.com/</span></p><p>The challenge being <b style="background-color: white; color: #2b2715; font-family: arial; font-size: x-large; text-align: center;">Emboss Wet or Dry</b></p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgiZFHFgJB9t9beL9rby1GoQSBFfn0sUOamPpEWZJvBbvTARCFrdtjo8PvL93yJSlWUcAbt40XBLQrP2hVT83ZSqv6Cj9elz_sUKilUEEzBQ56kD89p_4CeU5SN0aIHYuHeCH5itELdhDwVi89EyejusMiBrZosTUgXAn80vx53Y9mEhB9gdAufR28DcPlk/s1607/P1050118.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1607" data-original-width="1322" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgiZFHFgJB9t9beL9rby1GoQSBFfn0sUOamPpEWZJvBbvTARCFrdtjo8PvL93yJSlWUcAbt40XBLQrP2hVT83ZSqv6Cj9elz_sUKilUEEzBQ56kD89p_4CeU5SN0aIHYuHeCH5itELdhDwVi89EyejusMiBrZosTUgXAn80vx53Y9mEhB9gdAufR28DcPlk/s320/P1050118.JPG" width="263" /></a> </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I like embossed back ground layers as they seem to highlight the next layer , be it an image alone or a panel . Thank you for calling in . </p><p>I really enjoyed making this card because it is a little different . And it was created using ends of papers from my scrap stash . Now once again this was made some time ago so no names of papers . I promise though once I have published cards already made I will endeavour to write a recipe for my new makes . </p><p>Fair warning now ..there are a several photos of the stages of this creation, the idea of which I found on Pinterest .</p><p>This small card is 8cm x 10.5cm with some beautiful scrap of SU paper . I added some bling to the centre of some of the flowers .</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhXvvDbhmencaiwGMX5GSSU2UHWzIlXS4Hd5caM_V88JQh2SKWGQubFxEKbv0pG7oUeng1R-aCGmqAbhVZDKsBKG4brlBSrtG5uNNb4cSdyWVavPLNA81xbxp7esFF7GSwhN_2h5LkcbsYZvm8ggrRjnk-KZ2pChNm6dyyL0Pd2NvPPNdbGtEeVni7fGjIc/s1736/P1050111.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1736" data-original-width="1406" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhXvvDbhmencaiwGMX5GSSU2UHWzIlXS4Hd5caM_V88JQh2SKWGQubFxEKbv0pG7oUeng1R-aCGmqAbhVZDKsBKG4brlBSrtG5uNNb4cSdyWVavPLNA81xbxp7esFF7GSwhN_2h5LkcbsYZvm8ggrRjnk-KZ2pChNm6dyyL0Pd2NvPPNdbGtEeVni7fGjIc/s320/P1050111.JPG" width="259" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">This is the card front or the small card holder and it is just one piece 10.5 x14.8cm. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Once again paper is from SU .</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">There is the addition of the corner piece which will hold the small card .</div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhHJ9GumEDImtqIb6QoP_JBsEPfl3XZhm9BO2gewiinE3jyNllw5mUBqOPdTsalp0AWwMNZJW_8oLJWmzmr6_nrGzsKKMlWR1_-iBOx-rDANpx1MskFAUGzJTD4BOaHkdCqOVmqDrdam0LsWFEleQUE6XTB07ttIKbMSLdrwDEdYj69MgIRBalzwShe-e56/s2052/P1050109.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2052" data-original-width="1637" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhHJ9GumEDImtqIb6QoP_JBsEPfl3XZhm9BO2gewiinE3jyNllw5mUBqOPdTsalp0AWwMNZJW_8oLJWmzmr6_nrGzsKKMlWR1_-iBOx-rDANpx1MskFAUGzJTD4BOaHkdCqOVmqDrdam0LsWFEleQUE6XTB07ttIKbMSLdrwDEdYj69MgIRBalzwShe-e56/s320/P1050109.JPG" width="255" /></a></div><div>On the back of this I have stamped the greeting which came as a freebie on a magazine ..I think .</div><div><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjuqwj7eBEiVEeo52m3Kfwj16wQVUgJvfxvOMCtIxKYu3h2KW7uhmkrD4AdYS_iF6yanKiFRHytUVn5zGC6hRx0srwfNGI2GTjM6h-BhBgPC1rS7mcCzSUJKzgYPmkEY642FAfkFP6WznaQDdyW1t5wgAe2xOybsnyrAAMHL9HOFf1DDki0pOgoYT_69qxl/s1849/P1050114.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1849" data-original-width="1486" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjuqwj7eBEiVEeo52m3Kfwj16wQVUgJvfxvOMCtIxKYu3h2KW7uhmkrD4AdYS_iF6yanKiFRHytUVn5zGC6hRx0srwfNGI2GTjM6h-BhBgPC1rS7mcCzSUJKzgYPmkEY642FAfkFP6WznaQDdyW1t5wgAe2xOybsnyrAAMHL9HOFf1DDki0pOgoYT_69qxl/s320/P1050114.JPG" width="257" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">The finished project shows now all together .</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Blue and green do go together some times . </div><div> </div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEir_SutE2h2ozMWpI-Gi00wnJlcJUzpreRXuD2jKRC_mLZRQ0PfihtntZGxn2LaDmI9OuIHO2nVQCDPsT3DRWEm0Xjv_uJ-tMfTP7GTtBD4QfAWxcv0ehN5ZPh8IbnGwp_BdhU742cqssBQ96jA-CrGPFHRMIy9XFrF0fvIDhlMCpQtwJkTh-jB-Wu33okH/s1555/P1050112.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1555" data-original-width="1277" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEir_SutE2h2ozMWpI-Gi00wnJlcJUzpreRXuD2jKRC_mLZRQ0PfihtntZGxn2LaDmI9OuIHO2nVQCDPsT3DRWEm0Xjv_uJ-tMfTP7GTtBD4QfAWxcv0ehN5ZPh8IbnGwp_BdhU742cqssBQ96jA-CrGPFHRMIy9XFrF0fvIDhlMCpQtwJkTh-jB-Wu33okH/s320/P1050112.JPG" width="263" /></a></div><br /><p>As I said ,I really enjoyed creating this . Not that I have many interesting events going on in my life or exquisite makes to share but some one somewhere might relate to that which I do share .</p><p>I have promised myself to visit at least 3 blogs every day , sharing a comment before I leave .</p><p> And more importantly, this will keep me inspired , even encouraged in my own crafting . </p><p>It has been a busy week , more I think , as hubby has been a little off . I have been very busy tending to his needs while encouraging him to do as much as he can the best as he can .</p><p> Quiet time , personal time is a treasured thing but friendship with ones loved spouse has the highest value .</p><p>Tonight I am sharing another make from a few days ago . </p><p> </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiqRx4UcoMjjuOv5pOLMpX_E_QnCEM_whSSMV3SSpTvnjym7-Gbpwd1Wk2MBGzhlsvjuQtGuiTwRpjXO885iN3GAcq2DJK8FKcHjcEfWu9Ttvlxo9ywBkMeJwytVG5qkOsb-dm-S-KuZyCeMapD1T_M64KewBUUm8_RoXtFnVoO1dWh6am6t03PFGhzJzx-/s2130/P1050099.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2130" data-original-width="1754" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiqRx4UcoMjjuOv5pOLMpX_E_QnCEM_whSSMV3SSpTvnjym7-Gbpwd1Wk2MBGzhlsvjuQtGuiTwRpjXO885iN3GAcq2DJK8FKcHjcEfWu9Ttvlxo9ywBkMeJwytVG5qkOsb-dm-S-KuZyCeMapD1T_M64KewBUUm8_RoXtFnVoO1dWh6am6t03PFGhzJzx-/s320/P1050099.JPG" width="264" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">No details as a recipe because I did not know at the time that I would restart blogging and sharing again .Next time I must use a plain back ground for the photograph . </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">The papers are from SU as is the card base </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I am not sure of the origen of the sentiment sorry . </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">The pretty little bows were from a cheap shop .</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Well there you go my post is at its end .</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">If you have made it thus far thank you, and I hope that you enjoyed your visit .</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Catch you again soon, cheers for now . </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Shirley-Anne .</div><p></p>Shirley-Annehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06203660097242725136noreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3292873967823912389.post-1458620850841843772023-08-21T18:53:00.000+09:302023-08-21T18:53:29.620+09:30All the Best <p> Hi there . Welcome to my blog post today . Thank you for calling in and I hope that you like my card .</p><p>This creation is inspired by some thing I saw on Pinterst . I went back later to look for it to save and acknowledge the crafter , but lost it . </p><p>The card front has been embossed using the SU Country Floral Dynamic Textured Embossing Folder .</p><p>It gave a lovely deep embossed image .</p><p>I used a Die-namics Stitched Basic Edges from My Favorite Things to create the white and grey topper which I added with foam dots after stamping the image taken from SU stamp set Asian Artistry and the sentiment All the Best Cursive 4526D. Coloured with Copics . The grey is only a strip added to edge of white with minimum liquid glue. </p><p>The card stock for card base is SU . Merry Merlot , now retired .</p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEihFaAv4p4sExRuq_4P4UN_fvAzVgIVi11y8_lF-NHRDPwzFYBirqegZoVlPdXjM-5Ts-OxFCViq5-S9p3GYG_r66j5QnOL71Ca48Bhdm0pr9JqAQDMqjmMxMkzH_NCNU9x4sM_IQoIuYvlDQdQIPX4E2kg4lzBz33seHAuhV5nNI1AnjVSPkL7lb0WLZ-C/s1446/P1050095.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1446" data-original-width="1148" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEihFaAv4p4sExRuq_4P4UN_fvAzVgIVi11y8_lF-NHRDPwzFYBirqegZoVlPdXjM-5Ts-OxFCViq5-S9p3GYG_r66j5QnOL71Ca48Bhdm0pr9JqAQDMqjmMxMkzH_NCNU9x4sM_IQoIuYvlDQdQIPX4E2kg4lzBz33seHAuhV5nNI1AnjVSPkL7lb0WLZ-C/s320/P1050095.JPG" width="254" /></a> </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"> </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I love this design and I just know that I will use it again . </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Off now to visit some blogs .I have been away for far too long . </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I still have a few cards to share with you so I do hope that you check my post /blog again </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">soon and may be leave a word or two . </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Catch you again soon , cheers for now . </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I </div><br /><p></p>Shirley-Annehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06203660097242725136noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3292873967823912389.post-42287498679528969142023-08-20T22:41:00.003+09:302023-08-20T22:41:46.372+09:30Youngsters Birthday card <p> </p><p>Hi there blog friends , from a lazy blogger . This was supposed to have been posted years ago when our daughter , Michelle , was running her "Make it Monday" I must have been called away and did not notice that it was not published . The blog is not going now but I am posting tonight as I reminisce about my early card making days .</div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div>Joining Michelle on Make it Monday, right at the beginning of its journey, would have to be the proudest moment , ever, and watching her take it to the dizzy heights it now enjoys, it was quite simply, awesome .<br />
<br />
I love this too because it allows me to share the cards I create with all who visit my blog .<br />
<br />
I have been card making for several years now . I began by recycling Christmas cards until I bought my first stamp and the rest is history . I would say that my style is definitely CAS, although I do make some vintage styles with a little embellishing flowers or bling . <br />
<br />
My favourite colours are from the Autumn spectrum and my favourite tool would have to be the stamp-ma-jig . Then, my favourite research tool is my computer where there is an unending supply of inspiration .<br />
I enjoy sharing my love of papercraft and stamping , holding workshops at home .<br />

Now, I love using Kraft card bases for masculine cards , so this was just what I needed for inspiration .</span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">I am not one to provide recipes for my cards but as I would like to improve my blogging prowess so here goes ... photo first .. </span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;"> </span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiBw1yjQrSYNvb3k-6DuXfTrhJ1GMtpAE-Eda6QyV_YKYIg4JNQw-Mt54vLKsunEKIxTOoFDj5pWCLYONPI_3iXzyRPTQkLFcqFhpavxgC3tlgvKsrH9jsfCFU7FEE0aus4b5wHNf8YZrdlm8XQ-4E8BS9qse-uQKqZP8KkwgOMzlD465ZhNxjtXfAvyw/s2659/P1050041.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2659" data-original-width="1883" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiBw1yjQrSYNvb3k-6DuXfTrhJ1GMtpAE-Eda6QyV_YKYIg4JNQw-Mt54vLKsunEKIxTOoFDj5pWCLYONPI_3iXzyRPTQkLFcqFhpavxgC3tlgvKsrH9jsfCFU7FEE0aus4b5wHNf8YZrdlm8XQ-4E8BS9qse-uQKqZP8KkwgOMzlD465ZhNxjtXfAvyw/s320/P1050041.JPG" width="227" /></a></span></div><span style="font-size: medium;">A normal sized card base of Kraft card with a smaller white panel. Across the bottom of this white piece I added some blue gingham .At the top of the white space left I stamped, in black ink , the bike image from an old SU stamp set . Around this image when dry I added some blue chalk with a cotton bud . The shield I</span><span style="font-size: large;"> stamped in black on Kraft card and cut out </span><p></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;"> After placing a narrow strip at the top of the gingham I 3D the shield sentiment to one side then added the stars .</span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">Bad idea to take photo on cork back ground . </span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">I would like to enter this card to the above challenge https://movingalongwiththetimes.blogspot.com/2023/01/challenge-150-for-january.html </span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;"><br /></span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">Good luck to all the other entries and thanks to Moving Along With The Times for the venue .</span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">Well it is Friday whoopie the weekend follows . I was being facetious with that hello .</p><p>No blogging or visiting others for what seems to be forever .</p><p>Laziness or not feeling as though I had any thing of value to share .I am not sure which .</p><p>I certainly have picked Pinterest boards to pieces and viewed many many U-tube videos of card making .I had been creating cards and sharing with my two besties Sandy and Jane but the urge to place photos on my blog had waned . </p><p>But I tell you this much ..I have missed visiting blogs and adding my two cents worth in a comment when I find a treasure . </p><p>ANYWAY! </p><p>Here I go again . Hello to you all . thank you for calling in .I feel invigorated now .I have been creating ..just not blogging .My two besties Sandy and Jane had been keeping me motivated by crafting with me one day a week .I thank them both for that . But of course the holidays and Christmas caught up with me so that there has been no crafting at all .</p><p>So I have a few cards that I will share today and then hopefully I will blog on a regular basis with new creations to share. </p><p>Firstly though here are two cards that I received for my birthday .One is an old classic design from Jane and the other a new design from Sandy .</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiZiOGPPDtRHGxfYsu8ZwScKJmBrcKr8YNGFT1filLIBMGzdGPDCofDYH68puiVcFTrDMqUcwa4rq-i2OTe0ygFRY1WapFHSwqYCbG-TWxDSaeiCbOhgAVIRsdTqVQrq2nWhv_R3rZzka0Fx-o4HBxKvCOSxi9ZK-ecNc_Lb7QnhLx3qGKE4MLyhpbFUw/s2760/P1050024x2.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2104" data-original-width="2760" height="244" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiZiOGPPDtRHGxfYsu8ZwScKJmBrcKr8YNGFT1filLIBMGzdGPDCofDYH68puiVcFTrDMqUcwa4rq-i2OTe0ygFRY1WapFHSwqYCbG-TWxDSaeiCbOhgAVIRsdTqVQrq2nWhv_R3rZzka0Fx-o4HBxKvCOSxi9ZK-ecNc_Lb7QnhLx3qGKE4MLyhpbFUw/s320/P1050024x2.JPG" width="320" /></a> </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">The circle card is unusual as is the stand that </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">holds the pretty circle front upright . Thanks for calling in and welcome to my room . Thank you to those who left kind words on my last post and I will be sure to return the visit soon . </p><p>Well, today Hubby and I had our first Covid vac jab .So far so good with no reaction yet . Not that we are expecting any of course as none of our family or friends have indicated they had problems . Another good thing about today is that the sun shone for most of it . I also saw some early blossoms on our gopher outing this morning so I am wondering if this a sign of an early Spring? We hope so as we are both so over Winter. </p><p>Tonight I am posting/sharing another card using those magazine freebies . If you would like to see the first card I created using this music themed freebie stamp and paper ,then just scroll down . Actually this was a very generous freebie as it also contained some topper die cuts too . </p><p>This time my base card is Bermuda Bay with a layer of retired SU Whisper White trimmed so that there is just a smidgen of a border . Again a smaller piece of fabulous patterned paper from the magazine is the final layer. </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjdaZGbUET9QHPGGZqFnrXVW91ljDubx-cBVxixeCPyih7JMDQm2ZnpFyMZ80nsSX01BvwNsv0v_hLpy-N7PEIMCB9UgLrukwM3rqI8B0eaPEVgu4ORCt8gxZqTn-NyrGPwhYq3s9NXndwN/s2048/P1040974.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1124" data-original-width="2048" height="206" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjdaZGbUET9QHPGGZqFnrXVW91ljDubx-cBVxixeCPyih7JMDQm2ZnpFyMZ80nsSX01BvwNsv0v_hLpy-N7PEIMCB9UgLrukwM3rqI8B0eaPEVgu4ORCt8gxZqTn-NyrGPwhYq3s9NXndwN/w358-h206/P1040974.JPG" width="358" /></a></div><div><br /></div>The records are die cuts which I have added over images of records with foam dots while adhering sentiment and guitar die cuts flat .<div><br /></div><div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg-Hip86f6B7d5TEfUrTpWB2McnQJ-bb3fcvO-VpDXUUuOuugUYhNCS0oZayF5QPMhEjqkEuEwYUYoAXmQzIqVCUoWtbwqz31Xh9jExi2YAj9RNHiwibNB1oker5dSC1syLVkYP6mElSAOx/s2048/P1040977.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1376" data-original-width="2048" height="215" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg-Hip86f6B7d5TEfUrTpWB2McnQJ-bb3fcvO-VpDXUUuOuugUYhNCS0oZayF5QPMhEjqkEuEwYUYoAXmQzIqVCUoWtbwqz31Xh9jExi2YAj9RNHiwibNB1oker5dSC1syLVkYP6mElSAOx/s320/P1040977.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><br /><div>And for the inside I created the sentiment using three stamps from the free set .</div><div><br /></div><div> Please be here and on the lookout tomorrow night because I am sure that there will be another music themed card to share .How many do you think that I can create by only adding card stock? </div><div><br /></div><div> Till then .</div><div><br /></div><div> Catch you again soon , cheers for now , Shirley-Anne .</div><div><br /></div><div><br /><p><br /></p></div></div>Shirley-Annehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06203660097242725136noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3292873967823912389.post-20669947330368177542021-08-07T21:35:00.001+09:302021-08-07T21:35:33.658+09:30Best hit song ever <p> Hi there , welcome to my room . Don't get me wrong because I really do appreciate </p><p>all that I have .Family and friends ,cyber chats and photos shared . A roof over my head , food </p><p>to eat and a warm bed to sleep in .</p><p> Just hoping and praying that this virus will leave us sooner rather that later .</p><p>Went to a news agency on Friday and bought some craft magazines ,something I have</p><p> not done for months . I punched out another label from the white scrap .Closing the card I put some adhesive to the label and carefully placed it in the aperture so that when I opened the card the label was placed in the right spot on the inside of card . Now , I could have stamped the sentiment on the label first but as I was going to add the flower to front of card I wanted to be sure that the words were not obscured. </div><div><br /></div><div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgqAJAQJa3ZGP01I0133jfWdpuWwJaqXQEigBp08aN0k-uj-RZNQ5mzUrwtgMpykIzBUORC6ypioHFS8WmLNqY9O545nsHPyQbn3T3Mh-mS_K1lMhk4czeUgDY0YIiepQYROGPYvDafKZhP/s1865/P1040961.JPG" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1865" data-original-width="1505" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgqAJAQJa3ZGP01I0133jfWdpuWwJaqXQEigBp08aN0k-uj-RZNQ5mzUrwtgMpykIzBUORC6ypioHFS8WmLNqY9O545nsHPyQbn3T3Mh-mS_K1lMhk4czeUgDY0YIiepQYROGPYvDafKZhP/w273-h320/P1040961.JPG" width="273" /></a></div><br /></div></div><div><br /></div><div>I stamped the 3 petals in green ink to create leaves onto the white scrap using aqua pen to fill in colour then punched it out .I stamped the petals again twice in Black ink onto the red card stock scrap. After punching those out I stamped one of the petals set with its black centre . I adhered both together with a foam dot and the completed flower onto the lower petal of the green "leaves" </div><div><br /></div><div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgZ7lN5_z4lTOsz4jauytTuaqW_jtsVj1mgPnWtR1sjt8lsHp1lM8DSuFJKI3ccSnT2XAphSeJS6DVr_qLqS_ySpoZCk_RIpDhegXYCchsxF2gm_yXFWqmjIOrlNMlxVZOjQuh7-rzudkFc/s1767/P1040959.JPG" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1767" data-original-width="1451" height="118" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgZ7lN5_z4lTOsz4jauytTuaqW_jtsVj1mgPnWtR1sjt8lsHp1lM8DSuFJKI3ccSnT2XAphSeJS6DVr_qLqS_ySpoZCk_RIpDhegXYCchsxF2gm_yXFWqmjIOrlNMlxVZOjQuh7-rzudkFc/w111-h118/P1040959.JPG" width="111" /></a></div><div style="text-align: left;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgP-GMoHrSX1BNOBG4aHk8b25_unzxvtU2YRBmkF_hgAiBKIhSi59RZalvpz52-uJDkJXQ3N4EG8OXVxQdwBO1fAVh9FNIzmm7LCEcv5TFwFq28FHTx4q0zsSzyPbPyZY18x-eSdLR70M0n/s1727/P1040958.JPG" style="clear: right; margin-bottom: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1346" data-original-width="1727" height="137" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgP-GMoHrSX1BNOBG4aHk8b25_unzxvtU2YRBmkF_hgAiBKIhSi59RZalvpz52-uJDkJXQ3N4EG8OXVxQdwBO1fAVh9FNIzmm7LCEcv5TFwFq28FHTx4q0zsSzyPbPyZY18x-eSdLR70M0n/w113-h137/P1040958.JPG" width="113" /></a> <a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiH0nvnAbZyjjItiVZPl-AODIngbdNpFKTmnvdGA4QRqk6yCOiRMCpUBgQfI3YfBguAyJC7yJ9skXhNfbyQ71VRM7CrgDFQABcI7fwWuzvbl70gjgnzsYqFmHsHgdnj_YFldgwHc9prYq0S/s2048/P1040957.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1801" data-original-width="2048" height="90" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiH0nvnAbZyjjItiVZPl-AODIngbdNpFKTmnvdGA4QRqk6yCOiRMCpUBgQfI3YfBguAyJC7yJ9skXhNfbyQ71VRM7CrgDFQABcI7fwWuzvbl70gjgnzsYqFmHsHgdnj_YFldgwHc9prYq0S/w95-h90/P1040957.JPG" width="95" /></a></div></div><br /></div><br />SU punches , SU Stamp set and card stock .<div><br /></div><div>Lastly a small bow from Baker's Twine from my stash was added using a sticky dot .</div><div><br /></div><div> This is the first time that I have tried to use pictures of items used but this effort is so untidy I realize that I need practice .</div><div><br /></div><div> <br /><p></p><h2 style="text-align: left;"><a class="b-qt qt_331419 oncl_q" href="https://www.brainyquote.com/quotes/stephen_sondheim_331419" style="box-sizing: border-box; color: black; display: block; font-family: "helvetica neue", helvetica, verdana, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 18px; line-height: 26px; margin: 20px 20px 6px; text-decoration-line: none;" title="view quote">Art, in itself, is an attempt to bring order out of chaos.</a></h2><a class="b-qt qt_331419 oncl_q" href="https://www.brainyquote.com/quotes/stephen_sondheim_331419" style="box-sizing: border-box; color: black; display: block; font-family: "helvetica neue", helvetica, verdana, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 18px; line-height: 26px; margin: 20px 20px 6px; text-decoration-line: none;" title="view quote">Stephen Sondheim</a><a class="b-qt qt_331419 oncl_q" href="https://www.brainyquote.com/quotes/stephen_sondheim_331419" style="box-sizing: border-box; color: black; display: block; font-family: "helvetica neue", helvetica, verdana, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 18px; line-height: 26px; margin: 20px 20px 6px; text-decoration-line: none;" title="view quote"><br /></a> Catch you again soon , cheers for now , Shirley-Anne .</div>Shirley-Annehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06203660097242725136noreply@blogger.com4
