Hi there ,welcome to my room .Thanks for calling in and I hope that you like what you see . On my side bar you will see a few of my favourite blogs that I try to visit often . Please feel free to click on them and see some papercraft  artist who are reasonably new and some who are more advanced in the field of paper art.
Also at the top of my post you will see my followers . Most of them have the link to their blogs in their profile so if you click on their picture you will find your way to their blog . These are the places  where I find my inspiration and although I don't step out of my comfort zone often , I do know that I have a gallery of amazing cards to peruse at the click of my mouse .

Being Subtle for Monday

Is it just four weeks to Christmas ? No way ..cant be !! Let me check..
OH ME... OH MY , It's true . There have been times this past 12 months, while Doug was fully dependant on  me ,  when I thought that time was dragging  by . But lately I've been thinking that there has only been 12 hours in a day . LOL.   Really though,  with all our children living so far away and them  only having short break over the holidays we will spend a very quiet  Christmas at home .

This is just the worst photo but best I could get .

 Back ground  digi paper is from Cupcake Cards&Craft. So busy as of late that I have not posted since Monday and actually not much crafting done either .Had one of  our  sons stay for a while to do some odd jobs around our unit .
But I will share just one  card I did manage to make

sorry the photo is not good as it was dark and gloomy today and even with light over card in my craft room perfection was not achieved .
All material used in the production of this card came from SU . AND was on or near my desk !

It is my sister's  80 something  Birthday soon and she was always a wizz in the kitchen .
So this will be for her .

A Christmas card for Monday

Hi there . Welcome to my room . Thank you for calling in . Those of you who have visited and left kind words , I thank you and please know that I read and appreciate every comment .
I am posting for The linky Party for Make it Monday today and the card I share is this one

Base card is Cherry Cobbler, SU.

I layered  and diecut TopNote some dsp from Christmas Cheer set , SU .

Added some snowflake self adhesive diecuts from same pk.

The image , by Lindsay Mason and Funstamps, has been paperpieced onto topnote  and

is part of some candy that I won  from Anne-Marie recently .

I have coloured with copics .

Also added snow from Snow-Tex from DecorArt.

And some rhinestone sparkle from my stash

Sweet lace.

Hi there every-one .Welcome to my room .Hope that your weekend has been wonderful and that you and yours are enjoying good health . I've had a quiet time as there were no  craft classes either day .Therefore I have managed a fair bit of stamping and blog browsing . But of course Doug saw his chance to plead for more time out walking [ him gophering] to our parks which I love to do anyway .

One of the projects  I managed to finish was my  ATC, as DT member  and post  for  the new challenge at ATC Challenge blog .Background paper , corner punch and lace from SU . Flower , brad and Sweet tag from stash . Hope you like .

ATC stands for Artists trading card which were originally given by artists as a sample of their works. They are bits of card that measure 3.5 x 2.5 inches exactly. You decorate one side using a range of techniques and then write on the back a title for it, the date and who its made by.
It is early days yet for this fledging challenge blog and only a few entries so your chances of winning are some what higher .
Judie to choose - I would like to see lace used somewhere on your ATC That's the challenge this time .Why dont you pop over to ATC Challenge blog  to read the rules and check out what wonders the other DT members have to share and be inspired to enter your ATC . Gosh , I wish the weather would be consistant ! Here in Adelaide it is all over the place .My clothes drawers have Winter and Summer clothes in them  ..I  cant seem to put cold weather gear away just yet!

  This image  is called " Nice Weather for Ducks" I coloured with copics . A mixture of Kindy Glitz and SU crystal effects on the umbrella made it look plastic and wet. ..I hope . Do you think?
And the same  for the puddle with a touch of red  with  the blender tip gave a reflection of the red  gumboots .

Had to take our little dog Jacki to the vet to have some little warty things taken off and of course there was a bit of TLC when she came home . My card for today is another CAS card as is my style .I really did try to add some embellishments but had nothing nautical so left it as is .

All card and ink  are  from SU, the base card being Pacific Point .  The background  DSP is  Nautical Expidition SU , and all images from The Open Sea, set SU .
This card will be for our coffee maker at the cafe Doug and I go to every morning for our hot and strong flat white . One of few places that accommodate a gopher .

A craft morning

Hi there blogging pals . Welcome to my room . A glorious day here in Adelaide .A few light showers in the morning but not heavy enough to keep Doug indoors . He went off on his gopher while I set up my craft table ready for Fran and Sandy . We had a lovely morning crafting while chatting about this and that .it was funny but every now and then something would be said that reminded one or all of us about  the words of a song .I think we went through all the tunes in the movie ' South Pacific '. A senior moment here ,,help me out Sandy I think that was the name .You know the one with the song " I'm going to wash that man right outa my hair" And we would all burst into song and laughter.
Any way these are the cards we made today .
no recipe really just what was handy ..

Mermaid and bubbles

Hello Hello Hello . Are you free?
Free to stay a while that is.  It is Sunday , the weekend is all but over .Hope that there has been some happy moments for you .
Welcome to my room as I share another ATC with you .Do you create ATCs ? Well if you do then pop over to here  and see The DT members ATCs and be inspired.  And there are changes afoot regarding prizes from sponsors and challenge times /rules so please check.
The theme this fortnight is either Anything Goes ...
as in an ATC project with anything on it .NOT    AnythingGoes in papercraft project .

Added clear bubble stickers . Found a mermaid image on clipart ,printed it ,cut out and adhered to ATC. Just sponged the edges with blue

Creative Wednesday

Hello there , welcome to my room . Thanks for calling in . Hope you like what you see of my simple creations . It is a glorious day in Adelaide .
                         " Each day has something special,
                            Some joy or souvenir
                           It might be gone tomorrow
                           So enjoy it while it's here"
Here's hoping that where ever you are , the weather is being  as kind .
My card  shared today is one I made with some friends the other day .
I imagined the lady in this image is contemplating what her future holds .

Now I am sorry but this was made from part sheets of paper and card and I cant remember from whence they came . The sentiment however , is from Hero Arts . The image is from Stampendous , a cling rubber image .A diecut set was used for frames , while the flowers and bow are from my stash .

I am hoping this card will be suitable for these challenges .
