Just For You

Hi there blogg pals . Welcome to my room where the fan is barely making a difference . Another muggy day yesterday too . I have to remember to see that Doug is drinking the cool water I leave by his side . I have never known any one to be as adverse to  drinking water as he is ..not even that  with cordial .
What a shame ,  that because the unit is closed up to keep the heat out through the day ,  I cant do the ironing , the vaccuuming , baking or dusting and Doug is dozing while watching a movie ...yeah  right ! So I will just have to spend time in my room ....hehehe .

And I did ,  to create this card

Kraftyhands CD sample

Hello there . Great to see you here . Welcome to my room .
Lot cooler here today although still muggy at 28 degrees.
 Had Sandy and Fran here this morning for card making and it was a case of a laugh a minute .
I cant believe that us over 50's can laugh so much over the simplest of family titbits ..
Doug went off on gopher for coffee and bought us back morning tea of donuts . THANKS , dear one .

I just got an email from Fran who had to work this afternoon . Fran had taken a photo of a bag of donut holes that the shop sells .

 

And the chuckles continue ..thanks Fran

Oh , hello .So late tonight .

Just baubles

 

Hi there .

Welcome to my room .

Thank you for calling in .

Hope that all is well with you .

Sandy was here this morning for card making while Doug went for a gopher ride with Twiggy .

He bought us back a fresh iced doughnut to have with our cuppa ..Mmm.

Then while we finished the three cards Doug and Twiggy  dozed off .

The day was made even more enjoyable cause after card making we all went out for lunch and more coffee.

Really is fun and easy to make one Christmas card a week and I am hoping to be able to post that card along with a featured card I have found somewhere in blogland ..

A very quick post,  only to share this weeks Christmas card .True to my style , a CAS card.

 

 

 

 

and for inside ..

Used some green card stock from my stash. Card is small , 7.5 cm x 15cm.
Real Red  and Whisper White for the panels .Baubles and inside sentiment from SU set, Christmas Classics . The front "Christmas "word is inked from a larger sentiment , name which escapes me for the moment . Three baubles stamped onto panel white card  then onto scrap white .  One being cut out and adhered  onto middle image with foam dots while other two are  paperpieced .

Little Miss Muffet

Hi there . Welcome to my room . Thank you for calling in .
  A very quiet week here . Managed 3 posts last week then life's mundane duties seemed to take over . Then my mojo went walk about . Then my  printer went on strike ...GEEEEZ!!
To top things off I had a large order that came in two boxes  , each delivered on different days . just thankful they turned up at all .
The craft session on Friday with Jane here . Missing  her postings but she has been dabbling in papercraft on and off so maybe we will see something from her soon ..Like that pretty box she made with Sandy recently ..

Vintage Treasures

Tonight I am sharing some DT cards that I made for Krafthands .

All are from the CD Rom

Simply click and print , it is really that easy.

 

 

 

 

 

First a little Pillow Box.

 

 

Paper and image printed on to Whisper White , SU, from CD Vintage Treasures . Ribbon and brads from SU .

Then a card

 

This one is 13.5cm square. Paper , Topper and sentiment tag all printed  from CD . Hard to photograph but floral top of pin is 3D as is the centre charm image and sentiment .
And this centre insert is also printed from CD, with another coordinating sentiment tag .

 

Loved this background paper and topper. I have also used one of the lacey strips from the CD

flowers and bow from my stash .

 

 

 

Inside

 

 

I love that you can mix and match elements from the CD.

I know that I will be using the papers more .

 

This CD Rom will be launched when

Mike and his team at  Kraftyhands will be on the,  Create & Craft show

 on Tuesday February 19th at 1pm and 6pm

Santa himself

Hi there . Welcome to my room .  Thank you for calling in and I hope that you enjoy your visit ..

Before I share my card  , I thought that I would show this photo of Twiggy .
This is our new little family member that has been with us only a short time but she  has endeared herself and has Doug and  me  eating out of her ...paw.
Twiggy learnt very quickly that she looks really cute and can melt our hearts  when she stands up on her back legs .

 

Had two friends over for craft this morning and had a fabulous time .Sandy and Fran always have me in stitches . Its a wonder we ever get through 3 cards with all our chatter and me misplacing the odd stamp or two .

 

And now for my CAS Christmas card .
