Second circles card

Hi there . I'm here  with quick post . To basically admit to a senior moment . Hi there everyone , welcome to my room . This is a second post for today so please scroll down wont you ?

On Tuesday's post  I entered Less is More challenge

I was so keen to use up scrap bits to create a quick and easy card that I forgot to leave lots of " white " space on card front . So today I will make amends by entering another,  similar,  card using some  more scrappy bits .

Still with Crumb Cake, SU,  card base but a new sentiment from I forget where .
Sorry Chrissie and Mandi . Hope this one is closer to the mark .
We have a theme at " Less is More"  which this week is


CIRCLES

Please note that this is in the plural... we need to see more than one circle, so not just a circular card base or the odd circle thrown in just to qualify... we need you to think circles and see what you can come up with. Whilst you're thinking of your design however, we don't want you to forget the white space element and the CAS feel for your card.

Simply more than one circle

Hi there . welcome to my room . Just a quick project today . If you are in need of a budget card then hopefully my card shared here will inspire you . See how you can use up lots of your scrappy bits of patterned paper . In this instance I kept to a flower theme with my scraps .
Oh and a little tip ,you may or may not think of .
Some of my scrappy bits are  like really , really small .And you know how hard it can be to punch small bits!
Well all you do is adhere a tag to the scrappy bit .

This tag acts as a handle and with it I could position the punch exactly over the image I needed without my fingers getting in the way of the veiw .

So onto my card which happens to be for a bloke who likes gardening from seed to flower /vegs .

I'm hoping it is right for

With Crumb Cake card base from SU and the 3D foam tape adhered sentiment from Dreams du Jour also from SU, I just added a collection of punched circles of floral scrap  paper.

Week 23 - One Layer " Less is More"

Hello everyone .Welcome to my room . Hope that you are enjoying some craft time .
Have you checked my side bar lately .The Christmas card Challenge  in particular . Sandy has reached the target of 50 ..Well done Sandy . And there are a couple more who are not far off .
There are a couple of new followers  too , so welcome to them .

Tonight's post is to share my " Less is More" card.
" These ONE LAYER CARD challenges
seem to come around so quickly and here we are once more with another.
For our challenge today we would like to see
SOMETHING WITH LEGS
This should give you plenty of scope, but please don't forget that we still need to see areas of white space and minimal embellishments on your entries."

" K" for Less is More

Hello there . Welcome to my room . Hope that you are enjoying some craft time .
Thanks for calling in  to my blog .
 I almost forgot my Less is More challenge entry . And as I have not missed one yet , I rummaged through my stash of Chipboard letters to find this " K "
Which is a good find because I have a friend with a birthday soon and this monogram card will be just the bees knees! I just hope my friend does not see this yet .
For that is this weeks challenge .
"monogram: Definition monogram ( ) n. A design composed of one or more letters, typically the initials of a name, used as an identifying mark.
So in effect, your monogram should represent the word it's standing for and not be a part of it.
You can use any means you fancy for creating your monogram... die cut letters, stamps, computer printouts, masking techniques... wherever your creativity leads you, we'd love to see it. "

                                          Chipboard letter K , from stash .
Because both the mat and the letter are patterned I did not add embellishments .
