Wednesday in Vogue

Hi there , welcome to my room .Well ,thank you and you oh and you too , for calling in .Hope you enjoy your visit .Just a quick post tonight because it is almost Thursday .

The weather has cooled off a little and Doug and I welcome that .We tend to hibernate when temp gets above 35 degrees  and too hot to gopher anywhere .That means Doug gets cabin fever and fidgety.

We went out as usual today to have our usual coffee  then took our little Jack Russsel dog named Jacki..,.yeah I know real original, to the park for a run .After a quick lunch I commented on a few blogs and made this little vintage card .

Card stock is SU and paper is off my desk .The image is a free  vintage digi .

I will edit later with blog name forgot to label the folder with blog name ..sorry but I will credit later .

Sweet lace.

Hi there every-one .Welcome to my room .Hope that your weekend has been wonderful and that you and yours are enjoying good health . I've had a quiet time as there were no  craft classes either day .Therefore I have managed a fair bit of stamping and blog browsing . But of course Doug saw his chance to plead for more time out walking [ him gophering] to our parks which I love to do anyway .

One of the projects  I managed to finish was my  ATC, as DT member  and post  for  the new challenge at ATC Challenge blog .Background paper , corner punch and lace from SU . Flower , brad and Sweet tag from stash . Hope you like .

ATC stands for Artists trading card which were originally given by artists as a sample of their works. They are bits of card that measure 3.5 x 2.5 inches exactly. You decorate one side using a range of techniques and then write on the back a title for it, the date and who its made by.
It is early days yet for this fledging challenge blog and only a few entries so your chances of winning are some what higher .
Judie to choose - I would like to see lace used somewhere on your ATC That's the challenge this time .Why dont you pop over to ATC Challenge blog  to read the rules and check out what wonders the other DT members have to share and be inspired to enter your ATC . Mermaid and bubbles

Hello Hello Hello . Are you free?
Free to stay a while that is.  It is Sunday , the weekend is all but over .Hope that there has been some happy moments for you .
Welcome to my room as I share another ATC with you .Do you create ATCs ? Well if you do then pop over to here  and see The DT members ATCs and be inspired.  And there are changes afoot regarding prizes from sponsors and challenge times /rules so please check.
The theme this fortnight is either Anything Goes ...
as in an ATC project with anything on it .NOT    AnythingGoes in papercraft project .
OR if you can something with Mermaids I chose a mermaid theme .

Began with layer of Cristina Re Luxury Linen Paper
Added clear bubble stickers . Found a mermaid image on clipart ,printed it ,cut out and adhered to ATC. Just sponged the edges with blue

This my ATC

                                                   I began with a layer of blue vintage paper from my stash . .I distressed the edges then added the vintage image from a Hot off the Press 8"x8" book of vintage images and papers .I then added some rhinestones as embellishments

Two for one

Hello blogging friends , welcome to my room .Hope that your week is passing pleasantly.
Today I have been at my desk only an hour or so but I did have fun making an ATC to add to my new gallery album at  http://craftymess.ning.com/profile/ShirleyAnneBarber

The ATC card is one from a pack of Urban lily's

I have added an image from webster's pages..Your Life. And a rub  on " Sharing "

I also made a card which is to be used as a note card .

Whisper White has been used for card base. I used a Fiskars template for odd shape frame around which I did faux stitching in Brilliant Blue. Marina Mist card for rectangle within frame and white gel pen stitching around it . Sentiment from Sincere Salutations SU. A couple of chipboard flower and buttons to embellish .

not bad for an hour or so of crafting .

Chocolate Chip and Old Olive are a great combination , I think .  With a little Whisper White thrown in . Sets used ,  For You Flower and Perfect Punches.  Retired dsp SU.
Punches used Fancy Flower x-large, 1 3/8th" Circle and Oval Large .
A simple card for a workshop.

ATCs

Hello there and welcome. Hope that your day has been full of good things .  .
Firstly , I must thank Lisa Jane for the blog award . It is on my side bar and just click on picture and it will take you to her blog . Lisa is an artist extraordinare.

Lost my mojo for card creating today so I tried some mini works of art . I have not joined in an ATC swap for a while . And now that I think about it I have not seen any ATCs  on blogs  that I visit for a long time .
ATC stands for Artist Trading Cards . These are 2.5" x 3.5" cards. They can be journalling cards, and/or swap cards.
Here are the three I made today . These are pre cut cards by Urban Lily.

I love these little gems as you can use up a lot of your small  left over bits to add to the stamped image or sentiment . Like here , I have used just the smallest bit of lace on one and  the little friend button was the last on the sheet . 

Now what to do with them ??

I'll find 3 fellow bloggers  to send them to and hopefully they will send a swap.
