Today,  we at Kraftyhands Challenges,  are sporting a new look .  There are new and different  themed challenges too .
As well , there are  lots of newbies in the DT . Welcome to each one . You are encouraged to visit their blogs and enjoy their creations .

June Challenge - One for the Dads

Hello , welcome to my room  and thanks for calling in .

A Winter blast has hit Adelaide and Hubby and I have succumbed to the dreaded sniffles .Of course I managed to shake mine off but Hubby  still has sniffles , a cough and is dozing  all the time . Added to that gophering out to our parks has been curtailed severely due to icy winds and rain . Can't wait for warmer weather .

For now though I am sharing DT card for Kraftyhands

This months challenge theme is One for the Dads

                                                           It's A Man's World CD
I printed this kit from the CD only using 1st layer and then coat,   extra hand and phone images to 3D
The faux  ribbon and the sentiment label added too,  all onto black card base . A few grey  pearls from my Kraftyhands stash and that's it .
Many would add more embellishing may be,  but I stick to my style .

April challenge from Kraftyhands   has the theme      Nature's Work

I chose  Using Project #1 from Create  It , Issue Four

Issue 4 of our project resource magazine contains:

"10 card projects with sketches and finished card illustrations, step by step photo instructions, hints & top tips on featured techniques. 

 

Included is an interactive DVD with all printable files for each project in the magazine (and also some variations) with embedded links to specially created video tutorials with Mike & Ian so you can create each project along with Mike & Ian at the same time from the comfort of your own craft room! This time included on the DVD so you don't need the internet!

 

Once again the magazine is a limited edition run of 100 only. When stocks run out we will not be reprinting.

Here I have used SU card stock and kit printed from the Kraftyhands
Sowing The Seeds Of Love  CD rom  The word Mother is an old stamp from my stash ..

These kits from the CD have beautiful papers for the first layer and I am reluctant to cover any of that layer at all .

September Challenge for Kraftyhands

Hi there , blog pals . Welcome to my room and thanks for calling in .
I see new followers thanks guys , now please let me know in comment box that you have called in and I will try to visit you asap.
Back to Autumn weather here in Adelaide over last few days but the weekend was going to be fine so  Doug and I were able to wander out , taking more photos .
Had a top Friday afternoon with a couple of friends over for card making while Doug was out with Twiggy and I am sure that neighbours would have heard our raucous laughter. more about that on my FB page .

 Today I would like to share my  Kraftyhands challenge blog   DT card for the September challenge

Project #5

Supposed to be for A5 card .But I cut the first /top layer and folded in half to create a smaller card
 I cut out the toppers , the sentiment and the shorter strip which I cut at the centre because it was a little short and once adhered I placed sentiment with foam dots  over cut . I adhered  only the bottom half of  flower toppers  , lining them  along the fold. The centre topper is 3D to add dimension .
I added  kraftyhands pearls along strip.

Now the card is a 13cm square.

I created the card base from Basic Black , SU. The rope embellishment is jute from my stash and the sentiment , unknown source , sorry .

Easter delight with Kraftyhands

Hi there , welcome to my room .

Thank you for calling in .

We have just had  the last day of Summer and I cant wait to welcome Autumn .We will have a few warm days yet, but I love falling leaves , Autumn hues and crisp mornings.  I hope that where ever you are , the weather is kind .

 

Today , as Kraftyhands begins the March challenge , I get to share my DT card .

 

 

Card base is SU Bashful Blue . The first layer is Pumpkin Pie , SU

 Sentiment is SU .

The basket of eggs is my  hand made effort .

The image is a die cut topper from Kraftyhands   online shop  and the papers from a paper pack from Kraftyhands

 

We had a wonderful selection of February  entries and I thank everyone who shared their projects with us . This is a just for fun challenge , to share your talent and to be inspired . Also it is an opportunity to put your blog "out there "and may be get more visitors to your posts .

Die cut a gate fold card and created a belly band with another image from CD which I punched out with circle punch , SU .

Sorry that the photo of inside of card is so ordinary but found it hard to fit open card in that small hole of the camera ...LOL
Seriously though, I did want to show it off . I love that the guess work of matching papers is done by the guys at Kraftyhands .I just print from CD . The front and inside coordinate perfectly along with the sentiment panel .
For the front I layered the front panel onto some brown card stock and added some rhinestones . It really is a CAS card but any one else might add more embellishing .

Colours for trick or treat time

HEY!! Can you believe that it is October and only just over 11 weeks to Christmas ? Been so busy as of late and had not thought about Christmas for a while but shopping through the week and see all sorts of Christmas stock in shops already .

But of course some places celebrate Halloween first , so donning my DT cap for Kraftyhands  , I can share my card for Kraftyhands  October challenge .

 

 

I have used Kraftyhands paper from 2 CDs , Party Animal and Love to Shop. Card stock is SU. The pumpkin image and sweet on tag are clipart images I have printed from my PC. Ribbon from SU.

 

Fabulous CDs and paper packs along with a variety of embellishments and die cuts are a small selection of products available at the online shop.

Using die cut images from Kraftyhands , which are the pink   background A5 patterned paper and the sentiment label along with Miranda.

A DL size for Kraftyhand's challenge

Hi there blog pals .
Welcome to my room .Wow it has been wet all day here . Every thing in the garden  has had a beautiful soaking .
Hope that you are all enjoying your day and whatever you are doing .

My card to share today is for the June challenge for Kraftyhands .

                  June Challenge - No Squares Allowed

The DT have created  more stunning masterpieces to inspire you .I do hope that you visit their blogs and leave some blog lovin'.

Here , I have used  Beautiful Baroque Die Cut for this DL sized creation .
The die cut had the leafy background but I cut the top half of it away from the lady so that she was more prominent  on this card .
 DL cards are not a common card shape/size seen on many craft blogs . But I found that this sized die cut image just right for it .
And besides I have a huge stack of DL envelopes .
 The sentiment came with the image .
Card  from my stash as is the floral ribbon .
