Peace On Earth for Tag Tuesday

    Hello there , welcome to my room and thank you for calling in .
I do hope that you will say hello before you go .

A lot cooler yesterday and today so a great deal better than the 44 degrees we had the other day .
It does work , but I hate having the unit in darkness till evening time , the outside blinds  as well  inside  blinds down and the pedestal  fan whirring away non stop.
Right now unit is open , fresh air filtering through while I am waiting for my craft girls to arrive
   
Today,  I am sharing a tag with the theme of Peace on Earth , for Tag Tuesday.

Almost a mini tag card .  Base is  Whisper White  and red card  SU . Peace stamped from inked  part stamp from SU. Bell and star stickers from my stash . Corner punch used for decorative corners . Ribbon from my stash .

Using scraps of card and stickers from my stash and a sentiment from SU. A  punch for the base edges   and a scrap of red ribbon .

Dream tag for Tag Tuesday

Night Sky

Hi there everyone .Sorry I have not been here since August but was snowed under by Life's duties , family and DT blog stuff.
I am hoping to ease myself back into scheduling posts . Starting with this weeks tag .

When I think of night skies these days it is always connected with sleep and dreams of getting away one day .

I have used some grey card as base .This is to represent twilight while the black ink is for beginning of night . The street light , a die cut from my stash , has the yellow glow and I hope that I have picked up the shine on the glass lantern in the photo.
I added a chip board sentiment saying DREAM, while the 3D stickers would indicate dreaming of travel .

This is my interpretation of the theme for this week , I do hope that you like it .  There are amazing tags shared . Well done , thank you all for the inspiration .

One of my grand sons is still a little way yet from reaching this milestone and I am wondering if he remembers this photo being taken . Probably not .
Isn't photography ,  the written word as well as that which is spoken a wonderful way to record our lives .

OOH LA LA!

I'm late , I'm late for a very important date ! So said a very famous rabbit .

Hi everyone . I think that I am in by the skin of my teeth . Just a bit behind this week for my DT tag for Tag Tuesday .

Using my stash again for this tag .

Tag Tuesday theme is Ooh La La !

Blue card  tag base and paper from SU,  while the sassy beach babe image [ topper] is from Kraftyhands .

I like to create different shaped tags . Doesn't always work but I try .

Hubby often says that I am so  trying!

"Splashes Drips and Dribbles"

Hi every one , welcome to my room and thanks for calling in .

Had a fabulous crafting  afternoon with friend Jane . While Jane made up some cards I caught up with some die cutting . freezing cold outside but we were snug and warm with air con working well .

Now in between creating some new kits for Tuesday girls I quickly made up a tag
 for TAG TUESDAY

The theme is   "Splashes Drips and Dribbles"

The tag itself is made from some watercolour paper

 

I began by putting a couple of drops of  Bashful Blue ink into a saucer of water , dipping a tooth brush into that and flicking onto tag . As you can see a large drop fell so I lifted and tilted tag to make it run the length of tag .using coloured  Folk Art Paper Opaque and Pink liquid pearl  I created stems  flowers and a butterfly .

The words I took from Andrew Duhon, album , The Moorings .

                                 "it's gonna take a little rain
                                        to let the grass beneath us grow "

This tag was a challenge !

Friendship

EDIT ..OOOPS this was scheduled  for last night , or so I thought,  but was still in draft ..


Hello from a very cold,  wintry Adelaide .
Tonight I am sharing a tag with the theme , "friendship"

Tag Tuesday has a fine selection of tags to share on the blog , created by a talented group of ladies . I do hope that you pop over to take a peep .

I do believe that the two story book  figures that I have chosen for my tag did become good friends .

I adhered a kraft tag onto some red card and left a small edge .

I cut some images from a 12x12 graphic45 paper,  The Magic of Oz, and added them to bottom of tag . I remember the Tin Man but not the Lion's name .

 

Now off to check out other DT tags and leave some blog love and then as it is already 12 midnight I had better head off to bed before my head hits the keyboard .

Winter is here in Adelaide  with a bang . So here I am with a cup of milo near by crafting away,   quite happy . Hubby is dozing in next room ..Ahhhh Life is good .

I have had this blank  tag for may be 10 years or so and came across it a few days ago  in a container of punched  shapes that I had saved . I stamped images onto white card , placed tag apertures over images and stuck it down . I then stamped face directly onto tag .  Stamps are from TJ designs Rubber Stamps , Song Birds .
Tomorrow is Friday , hooray you say?

"On The Ocean Wave"

Hello tag lovers every where . welcome to my room .

Time for me to create another tag for TAG TUESDAY ..

Great therapy to create small . It is after all instant  paper crafting gratification .

My tag this week consists of card ,  paper and fussy cut  image from Stampin' Up .Designer Paper , High Tide. Adhered  image  with foam tape adding  dimension to the tag .

Out of our comfort zone

Hi there . I can't believe it is Tuesday again .

Had another fabulous craft morning with Sandy and Fran ..always something to look forward to .

I have a work bench with about  12"square of  available  actual work area. To the left of this clear space   is a stack of regularly used ink pads and some pre folded blank card bases along with some printed images left over from   previous makes   , while to the right is a huge pile of card and paper scraps .So from these piles emerged the ingredients for my contribution .

I die cut some scallop circles from green card . The teddy image was already as is . The scrap ribbon and flower brad were within arms reach .
My step outside my comfort zone was to create some thing different for a tag .A hidden message space .

Tag Tuesday ARROWS

 

Hi .just a quick post tonight .

Hope everyone is well ,  that you enjoy your visit to my blog and thanks for calling in .

Firstly,  I want to thank  Sandy and Fran for a fabulous craft morning that we had at my table today.

Doug was not his best today so instead of us all going out for lunch , Sandy and Fran decided to pop out to nearby  bakery and get  themselves some tucker , come back and have another couple of hours of  coffee and chat . Thanks friends , you are the best .

 

This week for TAG TUESDAY

 

The theme is ARROWS

 

 

I have such a huge stash of card stock scrap on my desk,  along with buttons, patterned paper, ribbon , twine and assorted other embellishments , that I can truly say that this tag was created with only that which was on my work space .

Thank you to the lovely blog pals who left kind words for me for last weeks tag .

 

Really happy with it too. Hope you like it .

Fruit tag

Hi there , welcome to my room , where tonight I am sharing a tag for TAG TUESDAY

Thank you for calling in . Do you make tags for the gifts you give and/or do you make tags
   as toppers  to add to card creations?
 Or do you bundle up a few  and give as gifts  Just interested to know .

The theme for this week is   FRUIT .

For my tag I used an SU stamp set that I thought that I would not use once it retired ....
SU set is " For father " . Stamped the image twice so that I could 3D hat and glove .
I coloured with copics.

letter stickers from pixie press pad from my stash .







Tag making is really instant gratification .

Down on the farm

Hi there blog pals . Welcome to my room where I am pleased to share another tag with you .

Thank you to those who left blog love on my last share .

I knew immediately which image I would use for this theme . I have been following and loving hand drawn images from Yvonne Turner for quite a while now .







This a pre coloured image . I printed out then fussy cut it .A triangle tag , brown card , for a change , with a smaller triangle of coordinating colour. I adhered the scarecrow  then drew some  wheat  for him to watch over . Great use of more scrap card stock .

Hope that you, the DT of   Tag Tuesday  ,  all had as much fun as I did with this theme .

Symmetry for Tag Tuesday

Hello my crafty friends . Thanks for calling in .  I believe that some one new has popped by and joined my blog .Thank you , hope you like what you see and let me know when you call in again .

 Almost missed this week as life has been quite busy .No dramas really,  just normal household stuff that mounts up after a while and suddenly you have to do a heap of  things.

So the theme of Symmetry.
Before I share must tell you that the DT ladies have posted some awesome tags to inspire you over at Tag Tuesday

I am determined to use what I have from my huge stash of card/paper  scraps and  embellishments .
This is what I managed this week . 

 

I used Whisper White for tag base , Paper from stash, both SU.

Sentiment , SU . Top punched using SU punch .

Twine, bow, flowers from my stash .

Back ground paper has some symmetrical value , I think .

 

Tags , especially hand made by yourself , are a lovely addition to any gift .

They can be as elaborate or as simple as you like and if you have a small collection of them they can make a nice gift too .

Music theme tag

Hi there . Well,  as cold as it is outside ,  I am as warm as toast in my craft room where I would like to share a tag .

Created this for posting on Tag Tuesday





I printed image twice , cut out the dancer from second printing and 3D it over first .
Adhered a couple of feathers onto back ground paper , 3D the  image panel over them .
Punched hole for added  ribbon .

Hopefully I can find some music paper in my stash and another suitable image to create another tag for this week for I think I have become addicted .     A " tagaholic" a tragic tagger?

I punched both  ends of tag with SU punch and ribbon is also from SU.
The paper for the paper piecing is from same paper stack .
The lady bug is from my stash .

 A couple of years ago , may be longer , I used to create small treasure like tags and ATCs. But over time life got in the way and then I got inspired , challenged , even by other craft projects .
Well this tag blog whet my craft  appetite and I had the urge to create  a mini piece .
