Feminine Beauties in Summer '59

Hi there , welcome to my room .
Thank you for calling in . Have had a pleasant day crafting with the aircon working away above me . Only 17.5 degrees here today !
I received a CD from Kraftyhands shop the other day , as a guest designer, to create some samples .

"Summer of '59 Sneaky Peeks "
Sharing with you  a sneak peek from the soon to be released CD Summer of '59.   The design team have made awesome  samples using this CD which is packed to the brim with lovely papers, shaped cards, bunting, backing papers, etc.
Linda will be featuring a sample a day from the DT , HERE

This CD will be on your screens on Thursday 30th May at 12 noon and 4pm. It is available to pre-order on the website here."
In my usual CAS style here is one  of mine ....

The ribbon from Kraftyhands , the brad from my stash .

opened inside
The blank greeting label is a diecut from my stash .

I printed my whole card from this fabulous CD onto Whisper White SU card
from the scalloped card kit on pages 16 and 17 .Never having made one quite like this before I was pleased that there is an instruction page at the beginning .

Hope that you can pop over to the on line shop where you will surely find something in your craft taste to whet your craft appetite..

Catch you again soon , cheers for now , Shirley-Anne .

These daffodils are from the collection of Stampography Bold Blooms .
You will find them by Kraftyhands  here .

The card base is from SU ,Wild Wasabi. as is the sentiment , Hello You.
The fabulous papers are from one of Kraftyhands' many CD ROMs that I have been collecting .
The ribbon and ink sponged around image are from CTMH. I coloured with copics .

I think it is what some might call a three foot card ;  that is to say it looks better at a distance of three feet .. My colouring needs lots of practice just to stay with in the lines . LOL
The card is 14cm x square

Over at  http://www.kraftyhands.blogspot.com.au/ you will find fabulous inspirational projects shared by all the DT and some from our bosses too.  Definately worth a visit .
There are new items being added to the shop as well http://www.kraftyhandsonline.co.uk/

There is still plenty of time to enter the challenge over at http://kraftyhandschallenge.blogspot.co.uk/ we would love to see you there ..

Off now to start this weeks Christmas card . How are you going with your 2013 stash ?

Glitz and Glamour

Hi there , welcome to my room .
Very muggy today and not pleasant in my craft room earlier but now that the evening is settling in , the unit is opened up it is much better .
Tonight I'd like to share a card I made earlier using products from Kraftyhands UK

The Days of Glitz and Glamour CD ROM called Deco Delights.
The lady I cut out from a topper from the CD and the paper is from a pack , Vintage Treasures Paper Stack from Kraftyhands as well .
Now,  I think it proper that I say from the get go that I am on the DT as a guest and I have received some free product but as I have bought some products too I feel comfortable giving a review .
My card is still as my style ,that is almost embellishment free . I must confess I struggled to add what I have .

The paper stack  has a great selection of beautiful  floral and script combined papers which compliment the Vintage Treasures CD ROM and the Deco Delights. I really love that the designers of the paper have left ample room for an image without the floral aspects being hidden . I could have left the image as a topper but this time I chose to paper piece it onto a diecut oval frame that coordinated with the blue card base .
The CDs are so easy to use .Just pop into CD part of computer and open .There are papers, toppers and matching sentiments .Enough to create a card from front to back . You can mix and match everything on a CD to make a card your own .Not only that but you can take one segment from one CD and mix with another segment from another CD for real individual style .
That is not to say you cant add some embellishing from your own stash as I have with flowers , pearls and diecut.
Here is what I did for the inside ..

There you go .I hope you have enjoyed your visit here tonight .
Let me know if you visit the shop  http://www.kraftyhandsonline.co.uk/ and tell me what you think .
There are new products coming on tap so keep an eye open for them ...
