I have some Close To My Heart products  that I have been playing with today.

 

It is a Scrap book pack , Buzz and Bumble .

 

 

 

 

I wanted to use as many of the card , paper and embellishments as I could.  The ' Seed ' image is from the included stamp set and  the little flowers and circle 'friend ' button embellishments . One of the little flowers is acting as a leg so that the card stands straight .

 

The card is the standard C6 size , with fold at side

I cut the front so that I  have a small border of the back of the card showing at top and bottom .

I adhered a selection of papers as shown on front and inside .

 

  For the inside  the flower is a stamp from  set that comes with pack . I have fussy cut it out .
Here you can see that the card closed with front of the card cut away at top as it is at bottom

Happy Easter

Hi there , welcome to my room .
Not much doing here today . Really wanted to share my Kraftyhands  Easter card .
 




To my family and friends I do wish you a Happy Easter .
I hope that you all get to share wonderful memory making moments with those you love .

Spare a thought for those unwell , alone or in hospital /residential care .
And many thanks to those  medical personel , law enforcers, fire fighters and emergency workers  who are on duty and away from their families for the Easter  weekend.

A lick and a promise at house work for the weekend , a quick outing for coffee and hopefully lots of time in my craft room ..no rain please so that Doug has self time on his gopher with Twiggy.
Life is good .

Hi there . Welcome to my room .Thank you for calling in , and if you have taken the time to comment , I appreciate that . You have made my day .

A good morning with a couple of friends, Sandy and Fran, for card making, then out for coffee /lunch with Doug , washing up to date , no ironing in basket and no housework to speak of needing attention . A couple of xlotto tickets in my purse.  I could be a millionaire and not know it !!
We had to use some copics on one of the cards and I am afraid that I dont often place copics back where they belong .Now I have to be really vigilant and try to be better . Here,  Sandy has  almost emptied my two bags of copics to rearrange them into their groups ..

In the mean time ..I am happy enough in my craft room .I have been playing with a CD from Kraftyhands , In The Attic . Now , I wonder where that title came from .
Any way , there's papers , toppers and inserts a plenty to complete a card .
here's what I came up with this time ..

Green card base from SU, , Corner punch from SU . Whisper White from SU to print papers and image toppers .

Super easy to use , plenty of combinations of papers , toppers , pyramid toppers in oval and rectangular. Theres inserts for DL cards as well as 6"square inserts .
Find them all in their shop  .
I don't sing their praises just  because I am a guest DT but,  having bought their CDs and Diecuts before and actually loved  cards  which I  created with the product ..I'm happy to write a review.

  And  a reminder about the current challenge on  Kraftyhands Challenge blog. A few days left so you still have time to enter and there is a sketch to follow if your mojo is in need of a kick start .

I had two crafting  friends , Sandy and Fran ,  here this morning .  While we chatted and laughed about this and that , I made us coffee . Fran had been away with Hubby for a few days so there was a story or two about her trip .

Here is my  Christmas card for this week .

 

 

Red card and white  card   are  from SU. The paper and sentiment tag were free with a magazine .
The image is a very old stamp from my stash . I coloured with copics .
The inside used  same layers / paper as front

And now it is a thrill to feature another Christmas card I found while blog browsing .

Nature's Silhouette

Hi there . Welcome to my room .
Thank you to the new followers who have joined me recently and I hope that you enjoy your visits here from time to time .
Really happy to see the cooler weather here . Not much crafting done though as we have been out and about after many days being indoors under aircon .
So now , I am happy that I had a DT card to create for todays Make it Monday Linky Party , #132

Here I have used White card base with black and white striped paper as top layer .
A diecut frame in black card.I printed  image on white card then diecut into a square . I adhered that to the black frame .
 Then sticking to my CAS style only added a pearl and a bow from my stash . No photo of inside as it is virtually same as front .except that the white square is blank for sentiment / greeting .

Stocking filler

Welcome to my room and thanks for calling in .
Hope that you enjoy your visit .
A quick posting as it has been so hot here that I have not spent a lot of time in my room .
As I write this , I have the fan on me but it is still muggy and uncomfortable .
Doug  does not handle the long hot spells very well and it is a full time job making sure that he is hydrated and staying cool so as not to become stressed or agitated .

Today I am sharing another Christmas card .
The idea for this one came from the card that Annmaree sent me .
Papers came from my stash . The stamp,  a Penny Black one . The sentiment , one so old the name worn off.

The flower and  the card candy at top are  from my stash . I had some scrappy card bits of brown and green so I cut really narrow strips of both and placed behind flower instead of leaves . I then added a pearl as centre of flower .
