What a Wintry blast we are having in Adelaide this last few days .

Tuesday is craft day with friends and a  great couple of hours were spent with Sandy and Fran . 

 

Today I wanted to try a different shaped card ..

So using  shapes  from  SU BigShot Die , Framelits Ovals Collection for the card base , paper layer , and sentiment  ,this is what I shared with the girls today .

The words are from MFS. as is the bow Die .Papers from my stash .

The large label die is from , GO Kreate[The Hobby House]

The shape is good size for a card at 10.5cm x 12.5cm .

Just a quick post to share a card made today for Tuesday morning craft time .
I simply love the Kraftyhands , Man About Town , CD
Click and print , mix and match papers , images and sentiments with a few embellishments thrown in .

Card base is SU , Rich Razzleberry

Now these papers were from a sheet intended for a gate fold card except for the sentiment square which I diecut from some SU , Very Vanilla and sponged with Soft Suede.
I have left off placing a sentiment , of which there are a few available on the sheets with the image and papers, on the top panel ,  because it will depend on  to whom  I decide to give the card.

And , quickly ,  a reminder that there is still time to enter the Kraftyhands Challenge

I had a fabulous morning of craft and laughter with Fran and Sandy . Doug said that he could hear our chook cackling from our gate way as he came home from his gopher ride .
I did not think Sandy was coming today as she has been ill, but this morning she  felt  well enough to grace us with her company . Good on ya , girl.
We did manage to make up the 3 cards .
one of which was this one .

The card front topper is from  Kraftyhands webshop,  MiniCD  The Potting Shed along with the sentiment tag.
I printed the sheet out and once cut I adhered it to some SU blue card layering that onto some old SU dsp. But I could have printed out some of the beautiful papers from the CD  if I didn't have to ration my printer ink till new supply comes in . But I do , so I didn't.

Man about Town CD Launch

Hope that your weekend is full of happy moments and that your weather is kind .
Here in Adelaide we have been enjoying beautiful sunny days with no sign of Autumn as yet .
Tonight my post is about plugging

Here as well,  I have a card to share , created with images from the CD

Printed 1st layer and adhered to card base , Printed out the man image and diecut it to add top right .
The oval punched piece with   words,  Man About town ,  were from the printed sheet of images ..and me being ever frugal .. waste not want not sponged around edges and adhered to card .

                                               For the inside I printed one of the papers from the CD onto  Whisper White and then cut into a  14.5cm square card finishing  inside before starting on front . . The sentiment on the inside  left   is from the CD and the diecut circle for greeting on inside  right is another  paper from CD.

 Dont forget too that there is plenty of time to enter in  Kraftyhands Challenge
