Oh for some Sun !

Hi there , welcome to my room .
I cant believe how time is speeding away from me .
I have several craft magazines that I have ready to read on my second desk  but at this stage have only managed a quick glance through as research.
I have created some vintage cards for a customer and kept up ..JUST...with my craft day card  kits .
Then of course trying to keep up with my DT cards and comments has been a challenge .SO ..if you have commented on my own blog posts lately and have not heard from me yet , I am so sorry . I am sure that I will catch up soon but in the mean time thank you each and everyone of you . I do really appreciate your visits .

An apple a day ......

Hello there , welcome to my room . Thanks so much for calling in .I hope that while  you take some time to browse through my blog you might enjoy that which I share here .

While this lousy weather is still here I have spent quite a bit of time in my craft room .Mind you , mostly researching , that is to say reading some magazines , blog browsing on line shops to see what is new . When I should be card making or commenting,  some might say that I am procrastinating ....

Has been really chilly here in Adelaide and much time has been spent indoors .I received a CD from Kraftyhands early in the week and have been creating with it .So will post them soon .

Hi there my hearties , welcome to my room .  Hope that your weather is kinder wherever you are .It is freezing here  . I am feeling the cold more than ever this Winter . Might be an age related thing ...

Food lover's delight

Hello there , welcome to my room .
Had a pleasant afternoon with a craft buddie, Jane ,Friday ., when we made this card . But today was a   couch potato watching V8 car racing on TV .
And just a quick post now , cause it is so late . I want to share a card that we made this week as a group.
                                             

The step card is from Kraftyhands Finishing Touch Stepper Cards . Citrus Collection
Contains 4 Diecut Stepper cards and some sentiments .
Here I used the Old Olive stepper card and a circular sentiment .
The best Wishes tag and the smaller images were printed from this fabulous CD .

Still in my  CAS style, I created an easel card .
 I used one of our sponsor's images ,  Black Eyed Susan Floral Corner. I printed out two sizes and had them placed on opposite corners of my frame .
Card , paper ,  die cut leaves , flowers and butterfly all from my stash .
Sentiment from SU .
I used a SU marker to run around the edge of the TOP NOTE to create faux stitch look and the ribbon SU , has stitching .

Mid week and all is well .

Actually has been a busy time,  craft wise any way . Had 4 Birthday cards to send off . All went   to close family members .

The card I share tonight was for one of my  craft mornings as a kit . I think that the girls enjoyed making it up .

 

I took the card  lay out  from one that I saw in a magazine , while flipping through .

 Sorry I cant recall which and /or the original creator. I have used different products

from my stash .

Here I have shared another Christmas card for my stash . I used an image from my stash of
Lili of the Valley die cut images.
The sentiment ticket is from Tim Holtz.
 and the frame die cut is a Nestabilities , Fleur De Lis Squares.

The card base  is 14.5cm square. Pacific Point card from SU . The paper is from stash .It was just a small amount so I chose to cut a piece same size as the card front , 14.5 cm square and cut that into 1/4s from corner to corner . That way I still had some for the inside ..

Love the background and that snowflake . Great font for the sentiment too . The best bit though I think is the embossed out side strip .
