Time and time again

Hope that your week is progressing well .

Just made a card this afternoon ..
I printed from Man About Town CD , Kraftyhands . Using SU card stock for  base , Natural Ivory .
Two reasons for this ..
 1,  the inside of stepper card would not be stark white and more in keeping with vintage feel .
 2,           All images printed out flat not gloss which is again more vintage in style .

I really enjoy creating masculine cards

                                

 

I like stepper cards too .

Have been going through my craft  CDs to choose some card kits for next week . Love doing that but OH BOY does time fly .

 

 Weather is going to be cool and cloudy with showers so I can see lots of printing and cutting going on in my room for a few days ..

A Curious note

Hello .I see a couple of newbies in my circle of craft friends . Thank you for calling in and sharing your links with me .
Welcome to my room .
Not posted anything since Monday last . Just life in general happened  , nothing serious .
But a couple of cards made which I hope to share this week .
 My esteemed leader from Kraftyhands , Mike , sent me some samples to play with .
My first card has base of SU card stock .

The samples sent to me were approx. 10cmx21cm

For this first card I left a  piece as was and created a DL sized card .

For  a topper I used a post card from Man about Town stack ,die cut to fit nicely , then added some kraftyhand ribbon and pearls to embellish .

full of misgivings here .We were couch potatoes over weekend with V8 car racing on TV and a few nibbles on the coffee table .

                 

I KNEW IT!!! I am weak when it comes to liquorice allsorts ..
Never mind , not life threatening so this is a new week and a new stronger resolve .

Man's best friend

Here it is , Easter Monday .
I hope that you and yours are full of Joy ,  happiness and in anticipation of new good  happenings in your life .

Very pleased to announce that I have lost a little weight ..

 

83.0 kl was last Mondays weigh in . I shared that in this post .......

Thank you to those who have  offered encouragement .
I guess the first week is always the easiest to lose weight .The only change I made was to halve my servings each meal .I have not used meal replacement products but I dare say that for  the last few kls to lose , I may need a helping hand .

Hi there , how's things? Welcome to my room .

Another fine Autumn day and it looks like Easter here will be super weather . My trusty camera captured an  awesome photo of another kookaburra today and we did see another koala but it was too high to take photo . I posted todays photo  only on my face book page this time.

Saw a card when blog browsing the other night and loved it so much I bought it ! No I didn't , just kidding , I made one like it .

The card base, C6,  is Shimmery White , SU.  Paper , 'All Occasions ' , Craft Concepts . Sentiment , SU ,
The just a note stamp from Stampendous . Basic Black marker , SU , used for faux staple .
 A pretty little CAS card for instant craft gratification.

A poor substitute for a bit of apple pie but!!


Was keen to keep to  my diet today  and smaller portions were the order of the day and no dessert for dinner . AND NO SUPPER !!
 I am dying here .
I am determined not  to use meal replacement thingys . Forgot to drink more water though . Oh well bad habits don't go away easily  so one day at a time .

Anchors away

Hello crafty pals . Welcome to my room . Thanks for calling in .
Hope that you all had a fabulous weekend .
Am thinking of those who , at the top end of Australia , are at the mercy of the weather .

At the end of this post , purely for those interested , I have a photo that I am using as an incentive to record weight loss ...or not as the case may be !
I have hopes of publishing a new photo every Monday ..Please be kind ..

To share today I created this masculine card using a die cut image from Kraftyhands , papers from Lili of the Valley and card from SU. The anchor charm is from MeiFlower and bling from my stash .

                          

 I have left off a sentiment because it could be for many occasions and I can add one when needed .

Horse Power

Hello , welcome to my room .
Thank you for calling in .I hope that you like the card I share today .

Had to drive the car to our coffee place the last two days . I do believe that the Season has changed .Cant see any more hot days ahead .
I weighed myself the other day ...PHEW  definitely a wake up call!!
Need to lose 15 kilo. Have to devise a plan ..
JUST WATCH THIS SPACE .

Here I have printed from a CD from Kraftyhands where I am on the DT .
 I cant remember if it is one that I have purchased or one that was given to me from the BOSS  .


The CD is  Glamour Pin Ups.

 

The card base is Basic Black, SU and the paper is from my stash as are the rhinestones. The sentiment was a freebie from who knows where. sorry .

The images are sassy to say the least but not overly saucy so I hope that no-one is offended .
The card is another of my CAS creations and I look forward to using this CD again .
I reckon our male relatives will appreciate these images too .

New release time

 

Hi there , welcome to my room . Thank you for calling in.

Todays post is full of Kraftyhands news  that I just had to share .
 It's new release time, and here's the next CD offering! One I'm sure you're all going to enjoy using!

The disc isn't quite ready for sending out just yet as there's been a delay in its completion , but we are  hoping it will be ready by the end of next week.

This CD will be the first "Mini" CD we've done for a while but I'm sure this one's going to be very popular! It will retail at £9.99

 

The next set of non CD products we're releasing are our first set of 12 x 12 papers in almost 5 years,

These paper stacks will be sold in packs of 12 for £12.50. They're all printed on 190gsm cardstock which is our preferred weight for backing papers and the colours are just stunning!

Pears and Partridges

Hi there . Welcome to my room and thanks for popping by .
Sure hope that all is well where ever you are .

 Twas a little cooler today and I spent a greater part of the afternoon playing with a new camera hubby bought me today . It was a dull day and I practiced with outside shots ..and inside with flash . Nothing worth sharing from outside pics but this was taken inside .
That is her rego tag under her chin !

Remember Twiggy ? She has settled down to be the most affectionate friend.
Still here ? Thanks for being patient .
I am so far behind with Christmas cards that I must get a wriggle on or some people will have store bought ones .
"better not be me!" I hear from  a couple of my friends ..LOL

I would like to share my latest card though and I hope that you like it .A pretty simple card design as is my style .

I had a hoot!

Hi there and welcome to my room .Thanks for calling in .

Well we had a warm couple of  days  here in Adelaide but forecast is for normal Autumn weather for the rest of the week .
Had Fran and Sandy here this morning for card making and as always enjoyed their company .
The last couple of days I have been playing with the CD from the Kraftyhands  magazine #1

        

The magazine is a perfect accompaniment to the CD .
 Apart from each digital  card kit sketch there are  easy steps for the card construction . Hints and tips and variations on every page to encourage and enthuse you . Beautiful large and clear photos for each project over two pages so no tiny thumbnail pictures to work from . The CD itself is not just stuck to the front of magazine ..oh no ! On the back page there is a sturdy  pouch  for the CD for perfect storage .
 There are also internet links to  YouTube video tutorials of all the projects .

This time I went to project 4, printed out the two A4 pages for the card kit and cut everything out .

This card is virtually as suggested . The next two are my ideas using balance of images from  kit .
In these instances I have used SU papers and ribbon

 

Hope that you like these fun cards as much as I enjoyed making them .
