Hope that the week ahead is a good one for you .
 Our last week was a  pretty quiet one . Still went out for coffee to get Doug out of the house but had to use the car . Wintry weather is not the best for gophers .
Had a pleasant Friday afternoon card making with friends Sandy and Jane and a CTMH consultant / demonstrator , Gloria .
Then a little more crafting in my room over the weekend only interrupted by TV, watching our team The Crows , win at foot ball .

A card to share today , using images and paper  printed from  Kraftyhands
CD Legends of Hollywood.

The inside sentiment is also part of the card kit printed out .

My weigh in
Happy that I seem to be holding my own with 80kgs for now .But with Winter barely started I can see lots of warm stews and crock pot meals with toast .Milo for supper , that's the killer for me .

Party Dog

Hi there.
 BRRR it is so cold here in Adelaide and I am feeling my age with pain in my left wrist like you would not believe .Not bad enough to stop me from crafting of course .
 Welcome to my room and , hey , thanks for calling in .
Just in time for my quick post to share a little card that I made this afternoon .

Really happy with this little sweet card.
Card is about 11cm square .
Used a SU  Big Shot BigZ clear large scallop square.
Card, paper, brad for flower centre  and sentiment  , SU.

Picnic Time CD card

Well , bother!
I forgot yesterday was Monday and did not post a card or my update on my self imposed diet progress .
That's it , when one has retired [ in our case any way] one can lose track of days / time .
I will be up to date next Monday .
Now here I am welcoming you  to my room and thank you for calling in .
I see I have new followers so I thank them and hope they enjoy their visits .

The last few days have been wild and wintry . Cold and wet today .

Had a moment to spare

Hi , awful late here but had a moment to spare to post a card .
Welcome to my room . I hope you like what you see .

The sun was out today so Doug and I were out and about . We gophered into the city where I manage to snap some photos .

Fountain which aerates the river  water which is supposed to minimise algae

This one is where  the SA Brewing company is  beautifying a section of the river bank .I am guessing that they [ in the back ground ] are the vats of brewing mixture . Being a non  drinker , I really know nothing about this place .

Just saying hello

Hello .
Welcome to my room and thank you for stopping to browse .
Have been finding that I am time poor lately and sitting at PC is limited so posting has been spasmodic .
Weather has been pretty ordinary too . Why can't it rain between 8pm and 8am ?
While I am here , I must remind you of the Kraftyhands Challenge
June Challenge - Floral Fancy still has 15 days to go .Plenty of time for you to enter and we would love to see your creations .

I bundled up a few of my makes the other day and took them to my hair dresser who has a little display of nic nacs that she sells to raise money for some charity that she supports .I do hope that her clientele will like my donated  CAS cards .

Thanks to some blog pals who offer encouragement . I do appreciate the comments .All have acknowledged that it is a hard slog to lose Wt how ever one decides to go about it . And I think that the older you are , the harder it is too.

Neither up  nor  down.. still I am happy with that .

                                          

When I thought about this , I really do . Every day I try to imagine that this is the first day of my diet because that is when one is most enthused , I think .

Happiness always

Hi there . Welcome to my room .  Thank you for calling in .
Well , it is a long weekend here so I hope that  all of you who are celebrating our Queen's Birthday holiday are safe and having a whale of a time .
I tell you what though ..it is freezing here in Adelaide . Temp might get to 17 today . But troopers that we are,  Doug and I donned our beanies and gloves , braved the crisp,  invigorating  10 degrees weather to gopher out for our coffee this morning . We were amazed to see so many out on the Linear Park trails as well .

To share today I have another card similar to that of a previous  post
[ June 2nd]   , the inspiration from  Sue Rowe in the  AS&PC magazine .

Every thing used is from my stash of SU products , except for the twine.
                             

 

Love this CAS style but I guess one could add a few embellishments .

Also ..and I have been dying to share this .

 

 

At last , says  she , jumping up and down .Like , after I stepped off the scales of course ,  this morning ! Not a pretty sight , me being naked at the time . Keen , I say when it was 6 degrees !!!

Me?? Well a quiet week here not much crafting  and too cold to go out much .
Am missing taking photos too . Was just getting the hang of it .

Well Scripted

Goodness here it is Monday again .
Hi every one . Welcome to my room. Thank you for calling in .
Hope that you and yours are well and that you all had a happy week end .

I think that Autumn has left us rather quickly and Winter is in a hurry to get an early start.
It has been rather cold and wet the last few days with more to follow this week .
I don't mind , preferring to go with the flow and adjust my  plans  for the day accordingly.

No card making as such over the week except for yesterday afternoon , when , after browsing through craft magazines I was inspired by a set of cards by Sue Rowe in ACMS&P MAG.

Safe to say all products used from my craft room stash .
The sentiment is from a SU set , Well Scripted,  that I have not used for yonks . In fact I have not inked much lately .

For those of you who are following my wt. loss progress , here is an update .

Ok,  scales need a dusting sorry . 80.8 kg again . This is harder than I thought it would be .
But I have been encouraged by comments I have had , both on line and personally so I will keep trying .Having said that I think I will try some shake drink thing only because I just cant seem to find the time out I need to walk as exercise .

I don't really ..just sticking to meals except when craft friends are here and the odd treat so I don't feel like my throat has been cut .
