Hi everyone . I think that I am in by the skin of my teeth . Just a bit behind this week for my DT tag for Tag Tuesday .

Using my stash again for this tag .

Tag Tuesday theme is Ooh La La !

Blue card  tag base and paper from SU,  while the sassy beach babe image [ topper] is from Kraftyhands .

I like to create different shaped tags . Doesn't always work but I try .

Hubby often says that I am so  trying!

Christmas Card Challenge #34

Hi there ,welcome to my room . thanks for calling in .

Hope that you are all content and at peace .

Cold here and a few more Wintry days ahead .

I am behind with DT duties so hopefully  I can catch up today .

Nothing beats having crafty bits on hand when you are behind in DT duties .

Here I have used kraftyhands  online store  stock , Nordic Christmas Post Card Stack for snowman image . And Nordic Christmas Paper Stack . The kraft card base and bling  are  from Kraftyhands too , while red matte is from SU  .

Thanks to the DT for all their hard work in presenting fabulous projects to inspire us all and congrats to winner and top 3 from last challenge . There were only a few entries but all were certainly worth a visit .

Christmas Fun

Hello there blog pals . Welcome to my room .

To those in places  where Summer is their season , I hope that you are keeping cool and to those in the middle of Winter I hope that you are as warm as toast .

 

Here in Adelaide it is cold,  wet and miserable for some ...but not for me . I have been warm in my room working on kits for my girls and some DT cards  today.

"Splashes Drips and Dribbles"

Hi every one , welcome to my room and thanks for calling in .

Had a fabulous crafting  afternoon with friend Jane . While Jane made up some cards I caught up with some die cutting . freezing cold outside but we were snug and warm with air con working well .

Now in between creating some new kits for Tuesday girls I quickly made up a tag
 for TAG TUESDAY

The theme is   "Splashes Drips and Dribbles"

The tag itself is made from some watercolour paper

 

I began by putting a couple of drops of  Bashful Blue ink into a saucer of water , dipping a tooth brush into that and flicking onto tag . As you can see a large drop fell so I lifted and tilted tag to make it run the length of tag .using coloured  Folk Art Paper Opaque and Pink liquid pearl  I created stems  flowers and a butterfly .

The words I took from Andrew Duhon, album , The Moorings .

                                 "it's gonna take a little rain
                                        to let the grass beneath us grow "

This tag was a challenge !

Pup's home

Hello blog pals ..Happy Saturday to you . Hope that the weekend finds you well and warm / cool where ever you may be .

Talk about going outside ones comfort zone !
Just too scared to explore sometimes I think I am .
I have proudly completed my first Upright Diamond Shaped card .

When Adele invited me to create some samples for her I knew that I would have to push myself beyond CAS .
Look , if you can print,  read and follow the design these cards are really quite simple to make .

Once I had mastered valley folds and mountain folds I was on my way to this finished card .

Putting the different pyramage parts together with foam dots was surprisingly  easy and I love the fun  colourful image .

Friendship

EDIT ..OOOPS this was scheduled  for last night , or so I thought,  but was still in draft ..


Hello from a very cold,  wintry Adelaide .
Tonight I am sharing a tag with the theme , "friendship"

Tag Tuesday has a fine selection of tags to share on the blog , created by a talented group of ladies . I do hope that you pop over to take a peep .

I do believe that the two story book  figures that I have chosen for my tag did become good friends .

I adhered a kraft tag onto some red card and left a small edge .

I cut some images from a 12x12 graphic45 paper,  The Magic of Oz, and added them to bottom of tag . I remember the Tin Man but not the Lion's name .

 

Now off to check out other DT tags and leave some blog love and then as it is already 12 midnight I had better head off to bed before my head hits the keyboard .

Winter is here in Adelaide  with a bang . So here I am with a cup of milo near by crafting away,   quite happy . Hubby is dozing in next room ..Ahhhh Life is good .

I have had this blank  tag for may be 10 years or so and came across it a few days ago  in a container of punched  shapes that I had saved . I stamped images onto white card , placed tag apertures over images and stuck it down . I then stamped face directly onto tag .  Stamps are from TJ designs Rubber Stamps , Song Birds .
Tomorrow is Friday , hooray you say?

Bertie Bear

Hi there , welcome to my room and thank you for calling in .
I bet that you are either freezing or roasting depending on where you live .

Here in Adelaide we are quite cold at about 14 degrees today . So I spent a bit of time in my craft room ..OF COURSE .
I created another card from one of the Ultimate Kits , Bertie Bear Blue

Now most of this card is printed and cut  from the kit .
White card base is from SU . Green layer , topper , sentiment and banner all from kit .
I punched image and sentiment with a small scallop circle punch and a large scallop circle  die, sponging edges with Brocade Blue ink , SU.   I added some bling and a  heart  button .

I have kept true to my  CAS style but some one else might have added more embellishing .
These kits /bundles are easy to download and create with . Takes the stress out of coordinating colours of papers and images as well as embellishments .
