Just For You
Hello viewers , welcome to my room where it is warm and comfy
tonight as I just finished one more vintage style card .
This one is a C6 , top fold , black SU card , with Confetti White and Rose Red layers .
The flower from my stash looks shabby chic sort of vintage ....I think. And it really matched the Rose Red piece.
The Fiskars flower edge punch gave a vintage style feel to the black centre layer, framing the flower nicely.
When I placed the words from SU set
Teeny Tiny Sentiments, in the bottom right hand corner It sort of stood out like a sore thumb . So after a bit of thought I opted for a little edge stamp from Stick'em Stamps
Not sure how this photo will show up on blog . If it is not as good as I would like I will edit later .
Well I am off now to check out some blogs and maybe clear my desk ready for another card and kits for next Tuesday morning's workshop.
I 'm happy how the card turned out but do you think it is really vintage style ?
I am really interested in what you think . Cheers Shirley-Anne

sending a smile
Hello everyone. Trusting that you are enjoying your browsing .
Just a quick posting tonight as I need to pack my craft bags for tomorrow morning craft session .
Today I needed to start a collection of vintage cards for a customer .
This style is tougher for me to create as it means more layers or embellishments but... here goes .
Having a selection of images from Le'Romantique Collection of graphic45 helped .
I began with a blue cardstock base topped with DSP from SU layered with a topnote cut from Whisper White on which I stamped Floral image SU, in Baja Breeze ink.
On top of this I 3D the woman image with a satin blue ribbon bow above. A selection of flower embellishments were arranged on the left and greetings from Expressions stamped in bottom right in Chocolate Chip, SU .
And that's it .
Hope you like it . Cheers for now , Shirley-anne

heartfelt
Another cool day in Adelaide today . I hope that you are enjoying your weekend warmly.
I cannot believe the rough trot that the eastern states are having with the extreme weather, still . I extend to all those communities that are affected , my warmest thoughts .
My project for tomorrow's card afternoon is two step stamping.
recipe .
Cardstock, Bashful Blue, Whisper White
Ink/Markers , Ballet Blue , Brilliant Blue , Old Olive
Stamps, Heartfelt Thanks
Accessories, Big Shot . Script embossing folder.
Button and ribbon. Stamp-a-ma-jig.
I stamped images first , placed double side tape on back and then embossed . I find that easier than trying to put tape onto embossed card because sometimes I have flattened the edges of the embossed piece .
Am quite happy with this stamp set to show case two step stamping .
Thank you for popping in to browse today .
I really appreciate your comments when you leave them .
Cheers for now, Shirley-Anne

Peace , Love and Joy
Ok ...I know this has nothing to do with Christmas . Well , may be it does cause, I am sharing Joy and I do love my Daughter and her creations .
How's this ?
Michelle from
http://michelle-pinkpaperparadise.blogspot.com/
created this dump truck from scratch with card stock. Unusual gift box wouldn't you agree?
Any way to my Christmas cards .
Still creating quick , clean and simple cards , leaving more elaborate ones for later when new papers and embellishements come out in September.
This one is made from card base of Old Olive , with Whisper White , Old Olive and Real Red for panel. Tree, inked in Old Olive is from set 'Season Of Joy', while greeting is from set' Many Merry Messages' . DSP on left is from 'I Wish ' scrapbooking Kit .
I punched small stars with SU punch from Whisper White scraps and adhered to glitter paper , repunched and 3D to greeting panel .
Still using DSP from the 'I Wish' Kit This DL sized card is from Chocolate Chip card stock .
I used Eyelet Border Punch , SU, to begin panel , adding Real Red , Old Olive and Whisper White . Church scene is from set 'A Wish For Peace ' and the greeting from 'Many Merry Messages' . all inked in Not Quite Navy.
I coloured in the window with SU marker and dabbed the sky in SU stampin' pastels with a tissue .
Then just along tree edge and around window I again used a tissue with a dab of yellow stampin pastel to create a glow . Now I am going to upload a close up shot and hope the 'glow' shows up .
Mm .. I think I need advise here and more practice . Still I think that you will get the idea . The card was scanned but for the close up I used my web cam . These cards will be added to my number made for Robyn's challenge for 50 Christmas Cards for the 1st December . My count will now be 13 . Slow going actually . Can't wait for Stampin'Up 's new products in September . May be there will be some exciting new DSP and stamps that will inspire me to be more creative with the last few Chrismas cards .
