Autumn Colours
Hello everyone , welcome to my room . Am here earlier today with a card to share . The washing machine is going , the crockpot is on with pea and ham soup on the way for dinner and Doug is dozing in his chair . All is good .
The other day I bought some papers with Autumn colours which are my favourites . And like so many of us I was loathe to cut it because it is so pretty, but bit the bullet last night .
I used Very Vanilla for card base. The floral paper is from K&Company , while the striped paper is from Graphic45. Script is En Francais SU, inked with Creamy Caramel . Bird Swirl is a Stamp-It image, inked in Soft Suede.. This image I used a scalloped circle punch to show only small section. Only added some rhinestones for embellishment .
Hope you like it .

NEWS
Hello my blogging friends . Welcome to my room . I have some exciting news today ..no card to share but this news is BIG !!
My daughter , Michelle , has a segment on her blog 'Make it Monday' This is where many bloggers are sharing / linking their creations . It has flourished so well that changes are in place to add even more interest.
I take this from Michelle's blog;
Now on to the details for the changes to Make It Monday, Sponsor search and DT call
My humble little linky party has grown so quickly and I would like to thank each and every one of you. I would also like to thank the wonderful team over at Feline Playful for helping make this possible with all their hard work at compiling the list of challenges and winners every week.
This linky party has grown from 15 to 20 submissions each week to a whopping 154 last week (up from 134 the week before).
There were 1175 views and 400 link clicks. That means that there are a lot of people out there enjoying the inspiration you are providing and that my friends is the whole idea!!
It also means that it is taking a VERY long time to get around each of you to comment on your beautiful creations and I have had enlist the help of my wonderful Mum, Shirley -Anne from Stamping For Joy. So I have decided to promote her (LOL) to the first Design Team Member of the Pink Paper Paradise Make It Monday linky Party.
Prizes
I have decided to start offering a prize to one person each week but in a slightly different way.
As well as randomly choosing one submission each week to feature on my blog I am going to also award a prize to a random commentor.
Because this linky party is all about sharing inspiration, a little blog love and making new friends I am going to randomly choose a person who has commented on another submission in the weekly linky party to receive a small prize pack consisting of crafting supplies. To be eligable for the prize the commentor must make mention in their comment that they saw the card/papercraft project in the Make It Monday linky party.
I am also putting out a call for 4 more people who would like to join the Make It Monday team.
The following is what will be required from you:
1. You must have an active blog that you post to atleast once a week.
2.Create some sort of paper project (anything goes) each week and post it on your blog in a post promoting the Make It Monday linky party. You are welcome/encouraged to link your creation up to any and all other challenges.
3. Comment on your share of the submitted entries to the Make It Monday linky party each week.
In return you will receive:
1. Your creation displayed on the Make It Monday post here on Pink Paper Paradise each week with a link back to your blog.
2. A small pack of crafting supplies each month.
(Keep in mind that this is an inspriational linky party hosted by myself with the help of my Mum to promote the sharing of inspiration and the making of new friends. Any prizes or crafting packs sent out are supplied by us out of our own stash.)
Please email at mgissel70@yahoo.com.au or leave a comment here on this post with a link to your blog if you are interested in applying. Please tell me why you think you would enjoy being part of the Make It Monday team. This call will be open until the 15th April.
I am also searching for any companies that may wish to sponsor the Make It Monday linky party and offer a prize for the winner and or products for the Design Team to promote.
Please email me at mgissel70@yahoo.com.au.
Your company button/blinky will be prominently displayed in my sidebar as well as being included in the post for the week's linky party you choose to sponsor.
To those of you who have made it this far south of my post, lol, I thank you for your patience.
Michelle :-)

Two tone image
Hello and welcome to my room . I hope that my blogging friends are in good spirits .
I had a pleasant afternoon with a beginner of card making while Doug put a movie DVD on and dozed the time away.
Last night I made this card for my Tuesday ladies .
I began with Glossy White for card base .The embossed Whisper White background has been sponged and edged with Bashful Blue. I added a little lace from my stash to the bottom . The image panel has been treated in the same way as embossed layer. . The image itself , Gumnut Brush, Helen Williams, Stamp-It.
I inked the image in Soft Suede then, with scrap paper touched random spots to take off ink . Then, using an Old Olive Marker touched up the bare spots and stamped it . This gives a beautiful two toned image easily.
After adhering this panel to card front I embellished with some Rhinestones from my stash .
Hope you like this one.
Catch you again soon , cheers for now , Shirley-Anne.

Enjoy , paper piecing
Hello everyone , hope that you are all happy little crafters. Welcome to my room . Tonight I am making up a 'goodie bag ' for my swap partner on Craftymess, Judie . Now I remember reading something she wrote recently that she is not ' girly ' when it comes to cards and craft so must look out for suitable images and embellishments etc..
So to this end I will share my card quickly..I used this card as example of paper piecing for my April challenge at The Candy Bar on craftymess.
So to this end I will share my card quickly..I used this card as example of paper piecing for my April challenge at The Candy Bar on craftymess.
Image is from Kaszazz, stamped once on Naturals Ivory and again on Whisper White. The flower from second stamping was cut out and placed over first stamping .
The April challenge is for a card with green colour somewhere and some paperpiecing . Here I paperpieced the flower .
I have offered a little candy so why dont you visit the site , find The Candy Bar and have a go , share your creation .
See you there?
Catch you later , cheers for now , Shirley-Anne.
