Oh BOY!  Here it is Monday again .  Time for the Make it Monday Linky Party . And I love it . I have been given a super cute image to play with , I have spent ages browsing through the most inspirational entries and I get to share my  craft with you .
To top all that , I get to choose some one to feature on my post here .

For the first time I have tried SU , Shimmery White as card base and for the printing of digi image , which I coloured with copics .I then diecut with a scallop oval  die.

I agonised over which background paper to use but decided to use some card stock from the ever mounting stash on my desk ..

A green layer to mount the yellow and pink rectangle pieces before adhering the image with ds tape .

A flower from my stash , the tiny butterflys from a previous MS  punched strip , a brad and pearls from my stash to embellish .

Cutie for challenges .

Hi there everyone .Welcome to my room .Hope that you and yours are enjoying your week . Thank you for taking the time to visit and  I hope that you like what you see .
Well , it is freezing again today . No walking out today .
What a shame I have to spend time crafting . It's a hard life , let me tell you !!

I'm having the carpets cleaned in a couple of days so I have been shifting a few boxes from the floor in my room [ not an easy task or a quick job which anyone who has stepped into said room will testify to ] and I found a sheet of images from Pretty Little Studio. Immediately needed a break from task at hand to make this sweet  cute little card .

The card base is Confetti White and the papers  from April Showers which along with image is from Pretty Little Studio .Just the cutest CAS card I think .  Too simple do you think?
The inside has a flower cut from same paper .

First Car Josh

When I received this image from Kerry, I knew instantly how I wanted to showcase Josh and his first car. Of course it had to be a CAS card. As you can see there are no papers for this C6 card, just cardstock. The words are computer generated . Copics used to colour.

Pet Loss

All comments are such a buzz to read .
Have been really snowed under with life in general lately ..in a good way but.
Just here to share a card .I visited our vet recently for our new Twiggy pup and she asked me to make some Sympathy cards for people who have lost a pet .
This is what I came up with .

Marina Mist used for card base .White card embossed for background . Small panel of striped paper mounted on Marina Mist with Clip Art food bowl image attached. Sentiment is also computer generated .
Inside sentiment is from Artee Stamps .
Have to be the most unusual card request I have had .

7th Challenge Ditzy Craftymess

Hi there . Thanks for calling in .

Welcome to my room .

Very quiet here last couple of days with the temperature being in the high 20's low 30's and Doug still very tired ,getting over his "turn" and hospital stay .

Had time therefore to make a card ready for today's

DT post for Ditzy Craftymess Challenge Blog and this fortnight's challenge .

7th Challenge 21st April - Linda's choice - Embossing & Distressing dry or wet .

Crimson Cloud are sponsoring us this time and they have done a guest design spot as well .

Their prize is 3 die cuts for the winner to choose.

My card to share is combining dry embossing and distressing . I made it for a great crafting buddie of mine .Sandy has it already so can show/post it now .

Forgot to take photo before I wrote inside ..

Began with ivory card , a layer of red card embossed with dots folder and all edges distressed .

Added a pretty paper to diecut frame as background to image which I punched out with circle punch . The inside is pretty much the same .

You will see the other DT ladies on the challenge blog so be sure to call in to see them once you have added your project too.

Love to see what you share .

Now I must turn my attention to some mundane house work as I can't seem to locate the maid who should be taking the washing from the line , preparing supper and all that . YEAH RIGHT !!

High Flyer

Hi .

Welcome to my room . Really happy that you have called in . Thank you so much followers all , a special appreciation for comments that are left . Know that I read them all .

Doug and I went out for our usual Friday morning coffee and scones at B&B at Northpark shop centre and who should pop in to have coffee with us but my dearest craft friends , Fran and Sandy . They all get on so well with Doug and wanted to wish him well after learning that he had been in hospital over Easter . It was great to catch up .

In one of the 100's of magazines I have, I remembered a card design that I have been meaning to try . I have been making a few variations of easle cards lately ..

and this is one I will try again ..

Whisper White for card base . Just a C6 sized card . The card front has two panels cut to the fold at 5 cm from both short ends .The centre one is folded in half to the fold . That is where the image is attatched .

The two outside panels are adhered to base of card
I then added , with foam tape a Night Of Navy strip to each side , adding, with ds tape, Bashful Blue then White.I had stamped the stars on each white , coloured them in and punched out larger star and paper pieced that on .
Skater Mat is a Lucy's stamp . He is coloured with copics except for hair , that was pencils . I diecut the frame and adhered him to card .

I added a strip of striped paper to centre adding the sentiment with foam tape .

Wow, bit earlier tonight . Might trot off to make myself a Milo now and settle down for some commenting of my own .

These were dresses ..

Happy to see you and welcome to my room
Little time spent in craft room this weekend except for some blog visits and commenting .
Caught up with a little house work ....YEEK!! hate that mundane stuff .
I hope that you and yours are enjoying your weekend .
I had a few moments this afternoon for actual card making , after lunch and crumbing some chops for dinner . Oh ...that's another pet hate for me .thinking of what to have for meals and then the preparation of said meal. Lately I have found myself sticking to same menu /foods in rotation . BORING !!
But hesitate to step out of comfort zone because, I am ashamed to say , that would be taking a risk .
No risk, however, in card making ..
A mistake is only another embellishing opportunity .
My card to share has a vintage theme .

The card base is Rich Razzleberry ,while both images and gingham dsp are from Graphic 45.
Just added a couple of Craftworkscards Candi to corners . I sponged the edges of Gingham paper with Groovy Guava ink to define the layer.





For the inside , simple a layer of gingham paper and Whisper White panel for greeting . Two small images from same Graphic45 sheet to adorn corners were added .

Wow , here it is the first week of April done and dusted .
No workshops for a while so it is a free for all in my room .

My altered note book is covered with retired SU papers and a cut out from April Showers pack from Pretty Little Studio. No other embellishing cause it is for myself and everyday use.

We have already had a few April Showers and that has inspired me use this image to decorate this note book . This is my project to share for the new Ditzy Craftymess Challenge

Egg and Toast , anyone?

Now , before I share todays card , I am wondering how many of you noticed any thing ...well odd, in my Make it Monday post .

You know...like the heading ?

I mean really!! Did it relate to the card? OOPS another senior moment and I did not pick it up myself until last night . As you will see there is an explaination . mind you it may not be logical ..LOL

At the same time as doing the Monday post , with a card made days before , to schedule , I was creating this card and somehow my thinking went haywire.

I was going to edit but ...well , I was just interested to know how many of you noticed the hiccup .

WHEW .A lot about nothing ! If you are still here , thanks for sticking around to see my card .

Again , all card stock and dsp are from SU . This paper from the new Autumn /Winter mini catalogue.

The image and sentiment are from Penny Black .
INSIDE CARD ..

I also made this one too, from same ingredients .

This card has a smaller easle card topper .

I created the blue plate by using two circle punches .One smaller than the other .I punched 3 smaller circles to place on top of larger blue circle.I then used my cuttlebug and the embossing pad to emboss the indent into the larger circle thus creating a plate. The knife is from a SU set .

There you go now ,I hope that I have made up for my silly moment . Hope that you liked both cards .
