Oh good Heavens !! It is me !! Shirley-anne .
Here I am trying to create a post .Something that I have not achieved for ages and ages . I began several times but something always interupted me and my time . Sometimes It was just too hard and I felt guilty for trying ..
So here goes for another try .
Doug , my Hubby , was ill for a time and was admitted to an Aged care facility , where I visited and stayed all day every day . When he was well enough we would take a taxi to shopping centre to have cuppa and sometimes lunch . But as his health declined we just went down to the facility kitchen . We would sit outside in the sun and just watch traffic go by and reply to other visitors when they offered a hello .
He passed away a while ago while I was with him one afternoon .
Now the grieving has mellowed some what with our children's help and friends company ,I feel more comfortable beginning my life , a different life now , and with family and two very , very special friends , Sandy and Jane I have begun to step away from grief and entered my craft room again .
Sandy and Jane thank you for your support . Thank you too, my children , for holding me up .
I have not created for a while and I may be a little rusty .
Sorry I actually left post as it was too hard ..
Back now ..sorry about that .
More comfortable
Stepped into my craft room ..what a mess as it has been a dumping ground for too hard basket .. things .
Not sure where to start so opened PC to say hello to family and fiends .
Do pop by to let me know who is still crafting and blogging .
My desk has been a dumping ground for so much so I think it will take me all of today to clear it
I almost had to enter my room side ways I am ashamed to say so I will not be crafting today.
BUT .. I hope that you will check back in a day or two when I begin again .
