A Monday closer

Hi there ,hello to you ,and  to you .Thanks so much for calling in .Welcome to my room . Hope you are well .
Hi to my newest followers Tina, [no contact blog yet]  and Helen from http://www.helenscarddesigns.com/
I know Helen and her craft talent and can recommend her blog for a visit .
Here it is another Monday closer to Christmas . I must admit that Christmas here will be pretty quiet as we have seen all our children , Danny , Sonny and Michelle . We have given out the pressies and sent off all the cards I could manage . I think Doug and I will have a ham /chicken sandwich picnic in the park on Christmas Day .
Now being Monday , the Make it Monday Linky Party thingy will be in full swing by now . Hope that you will still have time to show us something , old or new , this week .

Here is my card to share .
                                                    FRONT

                                                                        INSIDE

The striped and the dotty papers are digi papers from this weeks sponsor .Webster's pages Journaling Cards were used for sentiments ,front and inside . Image on front was from a free set that came with a magazine and the inside is a 3D sticker I've had for YONKS.
We were given some papers  to choose from  to download and print out . Thank you very much , Mandy.

Monday finds a Winner

Hi there , welcome to my room . How are you all ? Well and happy I hope. Thanks for calling in .
Some one asked recently if Christmas was over yet and I chuckled . But I am beginning to feel that way too . I must say though that on line shopping makes sense. Order some presents and have them mailed direct to where ever . Easy peasey.
My week started off rather well with posting on Tuesday then Wednesday  but then went down hill !
Still I am happy to be able to post this morning because I love posting for Make it Monday .
This my card I share for today .

Sorry once more photo not the best ..

White card base,  DSP matte, A webster's pages journalling tag layered onto brown card with small border. .A flower , bow and bird charm from my stash .  Sentiment from Precious Butterflies, SU

not only in the shade,

Being Subtle for Monday

Is it just four weeks to Christmas ? No way ..cant be !! Let me check..
OH ME... OH MY , It's true . There have been times this past 12 months, while Doug was fully dependant on  me ,  when I thought that time was dragging  by . But lately I've been thinking that there has only been 12 hours in a day . LOL.   Really though,  with all our children living so far away and them  only having short break over the holidays we will spend a very quiet  Christmas at home .
Oh, hello ,   have you been waiting at my door for long?
Sorry to keep you waiting . Please come in and  welcome to my room . I do have something to share .
This  being my DT post  for Make it Monday,  I  have used some digi paper from our sponsor for this week's  Linky Party
This is just the worst photo but best I could get .

Back ground  digi paper is from Cupcake Cards&Craft. Subtle image [ bird in a tree] is a tag from KaiserCraft Journal Tags which I placed on a diecut frame.A gold sticker sentiment [ happy birthday ] used .  Pearls, Bow and flowers from my stash . No stamps were used in this creation  so I  hope it will be entered into http://unstampabelleschallenges.blogspot.com/  CHALLENGE #5 - TREES
This week we are sponsored by the lovely Mandy over at

Then , if you can , pop over to the DT 's blogs to see their  fabulous projects .Truly , these ladies are wonderful papercraft artists .
The hardest task for all DT members is choosing an entry to feature on their Make it Monday post .I know that just like me , they find  it hard to choose from so many amazing , inspiring entries .  .
 I have chosen   number 188
Becky http://bouncyflouncyfunfunfun.blogspot.com/2011/11/hes-chilly-fun-and-festive.html

Loved this because it is so bright and cheery and the parcels make great embellishments .

Well that's it for now , thank you for calling in .I hope that you have enjoyed the browsing and will pop in again soon .

Catch you again soon , cheers for now , Shirley-Anne

Entering my card into http://unstampabelleschallenges.blogspot.com/  CHALLENGE #5 - TREES

Hope too that you leave some blog love and a link back to you , cause I do try to return the visit .Welcome too, a new follower , Hanneke, http://hannekeshobbycorner.blogspot.com/
Hanneke likes to keep learning new things crafty .If you visit her blog watch out for her knitted egg warmers.

So busy as of late that I have not posted since Monday and actually not much crafting done either .Had one of  our  sons stay for a while to do some odd jobs around our unit .
But I will share just one  card I did manage to make

sorry the photo is not good as it was dark and gloomy today and even with light over card in my craft room perfection was not achieved .
All material used in the production of this card came from SU . AND was on or near my desk !

It is my sister's  80 something  Birthday soon and she was always a wizz in the kitchen .
So this will be for her .
Thanks again for calling in .
Catch you again soon , cheers for now , Shirley-Anne
