Delicious

Hi there , welcome to my room and thanks for calling in .
Another late night so a quick post to share a card created a few days ago .

Freezing day here  again and I turned the air off a little while ago thinking that I was calling it a night . But then I thought about posting on my blog , so here I am freezing my butt off !  You  just have to  laugh .

The card base is White, SU. The papers and Die cuts from Kraftyhands .
The sentiment and label /banner  from CTMH

Earlier this week we did have a break in the weather and managed a trip to Linear Park .Needless to say it was brisk and invigorating !
But Doug needed the outing and Twiggy needed the run .

Twiggy found a friend to race .

Hope all is good where ever you are

Catch you again soon , cheers for now , Shirley-Anne

Cherished memories

Hi blog pals
Thanks for calling in . Hope all is well with you and yours .
No crafting today but I had made a Sympathy card yesterday .And I know it is late at night here , but it is early in the day some where in the world ..right?

So here it is

Image, pearls and sentiment are from Kraftyhands CD , In Sympathy
Card stock from SU as is the ribbon .

I had forgotten to say that I will draw a name from comments to my post ,
http://shirley-anne-stampingforjoy.blogspot.com.au/2014/07/fluttering-by-to-say-hello.html , on the weekend .

Too cold to stay up much later so will close off . Special hello to new followers though and I hope you all enjoy your browsing here .

Remember to make time , be kind .

Catch you again soon , cheers for now , Shirley-Anne

The thoroughly modern man

Hello There . Welcome to my room and thank you for calling in .
I do hope you like the card I share today .

A card that  I made  from Create It #2 DVD ROM .
 Available from Kraftyhands on line

I 3D the hand and phone  and  paper pieced the sentiment .

Only adding a few pearls also available from Kraftyhands .

I used a SU punch to create a note book page look on one layer .

And for the inside

This is Kit 6.  Now this is just right for me as a CAS card but if you were one for adding embellishments then  paper clips or staples are among the hints and tips suggested . There are even Video tutorials on the DVD.

And for my weighty news . I am still sitting on 80.2kg and have resorted to a protein shake to "help" .Not that I am snacking between meals or eating a horse at every sitting but ......

Hope that does not offend any one .

Catch you again soon , cheers for now , Shirley-Anne

Fluttering by to say hello.

Hi there , welcome to my room . Thank you for calling in .
Please feel free to browse a while . And, if you happen to like something from a really old post please leave a comment . I would love to hear from you .
Hope that where ever you are , all is well and the weather is kind.

My card to share today as a give away ...see below at end of post .

Card base is Shimmery White from SU, as are the embossed layer and the green panel .The butterfly embellishment is from Little Birdie Boutique Elements. the die cut word from Memory Box. The pearls [ added after a suggestion from Sandy ]  from my stash.
I see that I need more practice with placing the die cut word as I think that the 'h' could have on more lean to match the 'll' s.
May find a challenge to enter this .........

Just a reminder that there is still time to enter Kraftyhands  Challenge Blog .
Here is one entry that I visited and got quite a chuckle .

A tune for him .

Hi there every one . Welcome to my room . Warm wishes to you and yours for a pleasant day and many thanks for calling in .

I am definitely getting old! Talk about feeling the cold ! We have had the coldest weekend since ...well, the last Winter , I guess  . Bone chillin' to say the least .

To top it all , my mojo has gone walk about so I have been searching for inspiration  from  my stash of magazines and blog browsing .

But today I must complete two kits for Tuesday morning craft.

So this is a quick post to say hello all and to share this card .

I must acknowledge that I saw the idea for the back ground stamp on a blog but forgot to save link .

Card base is Soft Suede, SU , as is top layer , Sahara Sand with
Stamp ,SU, Hardwood .Image and sentiment ,SU, Timeless Talk.

Had this in mind for a male relative's Birthday coming up soon .
Definitely love this back ground stamp  and can see it being used again .
I may or not find a challenge to enter and will be back to link ...

Had a pleasant surprise, hand made ,  delivered the other day from Amanda,
https://www.facebook.com/AmblingHome .

Of course the beautiful  cushion is in use but the stunning lounge pants are pinned ready to be hemmed so they will be worn when it gets a bit ..LOTS , warmer weather . I am really height deficient . Will model then.

There is a link to Amanda's Blog on her face book page and I know that once you have browsed her FB page you will definitely want to peruse her blog which is made up of interesting stories .

Now I have not posted my weighty news for a while . Not because I have given up but because I seem to be a stable weight of 80 Kgs .So when I get off this I will share the news as I will be over the moon about it .

Catch you again soon , cheers for now , Shirley-Anne

And ,  if I were to go on a Summer Holiday it would be to a luxury  resort where I could swan around all day in my Sunday best and be pampered ..Yeah right!!         Aint  never  gonna happen .

For my DT card I chose a CD again , from  Kraftyhands , of course .
using Summer of 59 CD

Card stock from SU . I  just 3D the image to give some dimension .

Another quick and easy way to create a summery card would have been to use

Old Legends

Hi there , welcome to my room .
Thank you for calling in .
Hope that the week ahead is a good one for you .
Our last week was a  pretty quiet one . Still went out for coffee to get Doug out of the house but had to use the car . Wintry weather is not the best for gophers .
Had a pleasant Friday afternoon card making with friends Sandy and Jane and a CTMH consultant / demonstrator , Gloria .
Then a little more crafting in my room over the weekend only interrupted by TV, watching our team The Crows , win at foot ball .

A card to share today , using images and paper  printed from  Kraftyhands
CD Legends of Hollywood.

The inside sentiment is also part of the card kit printed out .

My weigh in
Happy that I seem to be holding my own with 80kgs for now .But with Winter barely started I can see lots of warm stews and crock pot meals with toast .Milo for supper , that's the killer for me .

Catch you again soon , cheers for now , Shirley-Anne
