Chilled greetings

Welcome rain today , which means no watering .
How is the weather in your area? Hot , dry , wet , cold or just plain perfect?

Hi there craft pals . So happy to see you here .

Today I am sharing a Christmas card using a SU   combination of Snow Place stamp set along with a matching die , Snow Friends  Framelits  Dies .

Thick white card base with 1st layer of Whisper White  embossed .  Snowman , hat and candy cane along with the snow flakes are from set mentioned above . I touched up the colour on the hat but forgot the cane ....never mind ,if I remember I will do it later otherwise I know a blind man would be happy to see it any way !!  The greeting is from SU set Petite Pairs . I stamped the words the punched them out with Word Window punch .

I went over the snowflakes with Wink of Stella .Did the same with the torn Whisper White snow drifts ...All images  were  adhered to a matte of Pacific Point card stock .

Lately hubby has found that going too far on the gopher  is making him  so tired , therefore we have been staying close to home . We do have a fabulous selection of cafes and bakeries to visit near us . A couple of days a week we will use the car to venture further though .

Well that is it for today . I hope that you enjoyed your visit and will let me know that you have been .

Will enter this card into

Tongue in cheek

Hi there , welcome to my room . Thanks for calling in .
Awesome to see old friends calling in to say hi after my first post in 2017 .

I am blessed ,  truly I am . Here I am in the same beautiful place , still reasonably healthy , still the same weight  [ sigh] and  still able to indulge in  the craft I love with amazing friends  . I have all that  I need and most of that I want .

Today I would like to share some of the cards for males which were included in those cards made with friends while taking a break from blogging .

The first card on left

This is an image procured from Pinterest . Paper from my stash layered onto green card stock  Pacific Point card base , SU  Sentiments are from odd sets in my stash .

This one I thought I might give to hubby who will be 80 this year .

Second card on right

Basic Black card base Papers are retired SU stock from my stash The man silhouette is a die cut in Basic Black . The sentiment is from older  SU set .

Age is a case of mind over matter.

If you don't mind, it don't matter.

Starting the New Year

Today is the first day of the rest of my life .
Sounds a little scary,  when said out loud.

I want to get back into the habit of posting and sharing my CAS cards and TAGS . This something that I  have let slip for months . Another joyful activity that I have let slide is visiting other blogs .
Not that I did not enjoy being on  design teams for some wonderful groups,  because I loved it ,  but the commitment meant that time was my enemy .
So I have cleared my diary and will try to kick start my mojo..

I hope that you know that I have missed you , my friends , my visitors , my followers .

Welcome to my craft room once again .I am afraid that it is even worse than the messiest craft room that you have ever seen .

Have made a resolution to sell or give away  all of my older stamp sets but have to sort them out first ..errr dig them out more like it !!

Oh but I digress,   back to my reason for being here .

Baby Bumblebee, SU oldie . Baby Bundle , another SU oldie .
Retired paper , SU  Card base and stitched frame , SU Pear Pizzazz.  Die used is from MFT.
Combination of copics and SU markers as colour  medium .

May even enter this challenge

Today I choose life. Every morning when I wake up I can choose joy, happiness, negativity, pain... To feel the freedom that comes from being able to continue to make mistakes and choices - today I choose to feel life, not to deny my humanity but embrace it.

Warm Christmas Glow

Hello there , welcome to my room and thanks for calling in .
Here it is almost Christmas . Time to reflect on the year that is almost gone .

Here are some words of recent readings of mine which are a small part of a Christmas prayer that I would like to share with you .

May the Christmas morning make us happy to be thy children,
and Christmas evening bring us to our beds with grateful thoughts,
forgiving and forgiven, for Jesus' sake. Amen.

-- Robert Louis Stevenson

Warm wishes for a wonderful Christmas with family and friends to each and everyone of you .
