I enjoyed playing with watercolour pencils recently and carried on experimenting again with some silhouette stamp images .
Silhouette Sentiments , Elements of Style, Just Believe, were the sets used to make this dawn scene. I had intended to only use one bird image but noticed that there was a small smudge under the first stamping so decided to place another twig and bird near so that the moment was being shared . And that decided the sentiment for the card . Did it work , do you think ?
Once the water paper had dried and I had created the scene I adhered it to black card stock which I trimmed to leave a small border on three sides and a wider one at bottom to allow for tag with sentiment . I placed a narrow black ribbon over join .
I would like to enter this in My Inner Reflection Case Study Challenge .
See all the details here..
I was inspired by the sentiment on Sue's card . Now while the muse had a bunch of bright flowers and Sue, a single sunny Dafodil I wanted to use Flora in a different light . I hope it meets the theme criteria .
In any event I'd love to share it .
Catch you again soon , cheers Shirley-anne.
