Hello my blogging friends . Hope that you are finding lots of time for crafting . The weekend is well on the way . Is that family time for you?
I would like to make a mention tonight , of a friend of mine, Sandy. . Sandy has just opened her blog recently to chat and share some of her creations . I encourage you to visit when you have a moment as Sandy shows off her papercraft skills .
Todays card from me was inspired by a surprise snail mail delivery . This card came for me today , thank you Jane .The background music and flowers embellishing is beautiful.
I just loved the butterfly .
The element that inspired me was the decorated partial diecut as background .
Now my card looks nothing like Jane's , but I did add a half a topnote .
It's a top fold card of green .
Card and dsp from SU
Sentiment , Well Scripted , SU.
Bow image from Lucy's Stamps .
I punched a 1 3/4" circle from Rose Red for the sentiment . I created faux stitching in white gell pen around edge of circle then adhered it with foam tape .
The bow was slightly curled before adding with foam tape as well.
Hope you like it.
Catch you again soon , cheers for now Shirley-Anne.
Hi
ReplyDeleteThe card from Jane is beautiful, I love the technique she has used on the top note die cut. looks really effective.
Your card is wonderful, I just love that DP and the bow is a great touch. Does the flap lift up to open the card?
Michelle :-)
Just love the colours in this beauty. Thought you were a bit quiet, have you got over not feeling well? TFS Jane's card as well love that image she has used on the top note.

Your card is gorgeous Shirley-Anne I love the paper you have used.
ReplyDeleteJane's card is gorgeous too. I hope you are keeping well.xxx
Hi Shirley-Anne,
ReplyDeleteJane's card is so lovely and your card is pretty, pretty, pretty! Love the pink and I am really impressed with the bag like look on the top. The bow fits in perfectly and I adore the paper. It seems as though one could open the bow and something would come out of this bag... wonderful creation!
Now I am off to Sandy's blog.
Hugs and happy weekending,
Monica
