Happy Day

Hello everyone . How are you all ? Wow,  it was  very hot  here in Adelaide today so it was a rest day , no excersion for Doug . Then its  back to cooler weather tomorrow ...never know what clothes to put out for next day here ..

Welcome to my room tonight for just a quick post . I had in my stash a few images that I have cut from old ..and I mean really old , dress making patterns . I used some Sizzix adhesive sheet because image is so thin that any other glue might have torn it .
Love recycling ..

                                           All material apart from image is SU

    What a wonderfully clever idea to use this on your card. Great way to recycle! As for your heat, we only got in the 40s today with wind and rain. . .winter can not be far behind. Hope you are well. Best, Curt

    What a cool image and love it's vintage look. Very clever, Shirley-Anne. Love the paper, sorry that you had to struggle with it.
    But your card is great.

    I am struggling with heat embossing - the embossing powder just doesn't stick. May be I need to press the image harder on to the stamp pad.

    Hope the weather is better tomorrow, it was a real scorcher here as well.
