Thanks for calling in .
How is your paper crafting going ? Card making or scrap booking .? Or are you into sketching ,painting or whittling ? WHAT ? I hear you ask . Yes , you right at the back there .
You thought that I did not hear you , well whittling is another way to keep your hands busy .
Whittling may refer to the art of carving shapes out of raw wood , using a knife, or a time occupying
non artistic process of repeatedly shaving slivers from a piece of wood .
I once saw some one whittling a fine horse shape from a bar of soap.
Where am I going with this ? Well , no where really . Just wanted to know how many people will actually read my chatter .

Fab card Shirley - back in the old days!!!! Men used to whittle and make lovely pieces of art. I'm sure many a child woke on Christmas morning to hand carved toys in their Christmas stocking or a wife receive a treasured memento from her husband
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute card Shirley-Anne. I'm afraid at the minute I do not get time to make cards nor even whittle (even if I knew how).
ReplyDeleteBrilliant card and gorgeous papers . Love the whole style.xx

Hello Shirley-Ann! I'm back & happy to visit your room after ages. Hope you & yours are doing well. Enjoying the warm climate while we get cooler I'm sure. Take care.
ReplyDeleteSo cute! I love the snowmen paper!
ReplyDeleteI love patterned papers, I hoard them and cherish them. I love how you used the snowman paper here, not adding any image, but you don't need one here, the paper is so decorative and deserves to be the star of your card....
