My card for today is another of the Party Ladies .

Colour Sage for the card base

Embossed some blue scrap card before layering on dsp. with distressed edges .

Stamped lady onto Whisper White, coloured with copics  and cut out then layered that onto some Cristina Re paper .

Embellished with ribbon and rhinestones , leaf and flowers from my stash .

Time to smell the roses

Hi there . Here I  am totally excited to share Monday morning with you all .

Did you have a great weekend ? Mine was very quiet as I had no crafting friends over , so it was just Doug ,  Jacki, the dog and me . Lots of housework and walking with Doug .
I did manage a little craft time of course

This is another image from Party Ladies, coloured with copics and layered onto a doily.

The polka dot paper is from October Afternoon , Cherry Pie.

The card base is Poppy Parade , SU.

I have left off a sentiment because I can add one later when I decide what it will be used for .

                                                   I began with a layer of blue vintage paper from my stash . .I distressed the edges then added the vintage image from a Hot off the Press 8"x8" book of vintage images and papers .I then added some rhinestones as embellishments

Stylish in hat and coat

Hello blog pals .Welcome to my room . I do so love it when you call in . I appreciate the visit and I hope what you see in this post or  older makes your browsing worth while .

Have rummaged through my scraps box and found enough black card stock to make a small square card . I usually only use black cs as a mat for some image or other paper .

Basic Black card base DSP from SU pk. Mocha Morning .The dark piece is a design with black flocking . I love it as an added piece of texture .

Happy Day

Hello everyone . How are you all ? Wow,  it was  very hot  here in Adelaide today so it was a rest day , no excersion for Doug . Then its  back to cooler weather tomorrow ...never know what clothes to put out for next day here ..

Welcome to my room tonight for just a quick post . I had in my stash a few images that I have cut from old ..and I mean really old , dress making patterns . I used some Sizzix adhesive sheet because image is so thin that any other glue might have torn it .
Love recycling ..

Hello everyone .Hope that you and yours are well and happy . Welcome to my room , where I share just a few of the cards I make . My style is CAS  , and I rarely venture too far from my comfort zone . Having said that I hope that you enjoy your visit here .
Twelve months ago Doug suffered a major stroke . Many of my followers will remember .
I will dedicate this post to my Husband, Doug,  as we celebrate his continuing recovery  and him being a stroke survivor . Each day is a" special day "to us both and we choose to celebrate every day !

The card I have today says it all .When Michelle , our Daughter was here, just recently with her family ,we all went to the Zoo . That was  a major outing with family for Doug , hence the animals ..

Being retired it seems like that every day is a weekend to Doug and myself. So nothing special planned for us over the weekend just walks , coffee and a bit of craft .

I was playing today with some new SU stamps,  Flower Fest.
