Hope then that my post here will bring a smile and take your mind off it for a while 

The new anything goes challenge from TTCRD is up and running .

    I printed two sets of the image , one for the front and one a bit larger for the inside . This one I fussy cut parts of the image to decorate the inside sentiment panel .

This beautiful image given to me by the generous sponsor is coloured with various  SU markers .
This sentiment came to mind instantly I chose this image called Book Worm because I believe that much is gained by reading .The words are from a retired SU stamp set .

 Once again I was thrilled and so impressed with all the entries that I visited and I hope all were encouraged  and enthused by the words that I left in comment box .

Tulips on show

Hello to all those who have called in here and welcome to my room . I do hope that you enjoy your visit and will consider it worth your time .
Thank you to past commentators  . I will always endeavor  to repay the visits in appreciation .

Quite enjoy browsing on line again and blogging . Not as regular as I would like but being a full time carer my time has to be prioritized of course . Having just been diagnosed with  Type Two diabetes, I am trying to lose wt. AGAIN!! The best time I find not to be nibbling is when I am card making or blogging . So here I am .

A Perfect Time To Craft Challenge for March, #3 - 2020 

                     

            Recipe

Soft Suede card base , Pink Pirquette layer which was embossed with Stone 3D embossing folder .
Topper tag die cut with Stitched Nested Labels Die which was then edged in Soft Suede , while the sentiment was added in same ink .The tulips are from SU Timeless Tulips stamp set with a coordinating punch used for the largest tulip.

 I am not one for embellishing so as usual have not added any bling , preferring to let the topper take centre place .

The Just For You  sentiment is from SU set Watercolor Words . SU circle punches were used . Small bow from my stash .Paper is from SU Garden Impressions 6x6 inch DS paper pack .

 Card base is SU Crushed Curry .

    The year is definitely on a roll .The first month over  and now February is well and truly almost half gone ! I wonder if it because I am older that  the years are flying past quicker than ever .

I am , with a few stumbles just getting back into the swing of DT duties with the anything goes challenge from TTCRD    https://ttcrd.blogspot.com/   and creating swap cards with Swaps Down Under . All of which means that I have subject matter now to blog about so I do hope that will call in here from time to time to see what I am up to with my creations .

My effort this week using one of my own Paper Shelter purchases .

If you have time to browse there are many many awesome sets to purchase and  print out . But if you prefer single images are available as well .

                                                       

 

card base from yellow card stock . 

I printed the precoloured scene /image to 14 cm square .

only added a small sentiment punched out with circle punch 

Adhered that to a slightly larger light blue card mat then added that to card base 

Adding some bling just to make it my work ..

For the inside I used some of the light blue card as a mat then adhered a top note die cut for message
I printed out another precoloured image , fussy cut it out and set it to the side of die cut as shown .


                  I will be looking out for your mini work of art in the challenge .

My card recipe .

Some yellow card stock from my stash for the card base  , while the image was coloured with SU water pencils and an aqua pen . I then embellished card with some SU sequins .The image was adhered to Choc Chip panel with 3D foam dots then that panel was added to card front with DS tape .

Now I am looking forward to seeing your entry in this next challenge and perhaps you will visit DT blogs to leave them a word or two about their samples shown on challenge blog .
