The first is to help your self,
the second  is to help others.

Seasons Greetings

Hello visitors , welcome to my room .
Thanks for calling in and if you let me know that you have  visited I will certainly return the favor .

Today I have just a short post in which I will share a Christmas card made and a reminder .

Firstly the reminder about TTCRD challenge  which has only a couple of days left to go .
This challenge is always anything goes and runs weekly so that's a bonus  if you are anything like me and forget when challenges entered, finish and you don't check back till much later .

The sponsor this week is http://decossesdynamitedoodles.blogspot.ca/
and the prize is Sponsor: Decosses Dynamite Doodles
Prize: Lisa will choose set
Now the card I am sharing is from
Never Ending Christmas Card Kit Designed by Stephanie Weightman .

I used the card supplied in kit as a layer instead,  for my make .The white card base is mine at C6 size . I cut the red card so that there would be a narrow border of white . I ran the red layer through the SU Softly Falling embossing folder twice,  turning card once so that there was more falling snow . I then ran an emery board over embossed dots to give white snow effect. After choosing a topper and sentiment I added them with foam dots .
Just as I like my cards CAS  so happy with it .
Hope you like too .

Catch you again soon , cheers for now , Shirley-Anne .

Good health and happiness to you and yours .

Not much crafting since I saw you last .
Rattly cough and sniffles as is usual for some one with a cold .Almost over it I think .
For a while there I was afraid to use a blade cutter for card making as I might have cut a finger off while coughing and cutting at the same time
This DT card is all I have managed , the details of which will be in the challenge blog .

http://ttcrd.blogspot.com/

Sponsor: Decosses Dynamite Doodles
http://decossesdynamitedoodles.blogspot.ca/

Medical photographer part time but my love was always drawing. I started cardmaking about 4yrs ago when I bought my daughter a cardmaking kit which we did together, but I’m afraid I got the bug! My daughter preferred scrapbooking. I then started looking online at other blogs and this then became my passion and I loved sharing my cards with likeminded people.
I love stamping and loved finding images, but sometimes I could not find what I wanted so I started to draw myself.
This then has become my second addiction and I have never looked back, I love thinking of new images, and it’s just fabulous to see others take them and make them into beautiful works of art. Long may it continue!

                                                            Prize: $12  voucher

Thank you too,  TTCRD  DTs who have created inspirational makes that will surely inspire you to join in our challenge .I know that they would love for you to visit their blogs and leave a word or two .

Papercrafting

Who said you could not teach old dogs new tricks !?  After all these years of blogging I have just learned to place a watermark on my photo of my card ....whoopie . Thank you Sandra from TTCRD

Good morning , good afternoon or good evening to you all . Welcome to my room and thank you for calling in .

I really enjoyed creating my DT card as it reminded me of how unsure of myself I was when I began papercrafting as a hobby . Comparing my efforts to those that I saw on line on different blogs and to those samples in craft shops ,  getting started was hard but craft lovers are an encouraging , inspiring lot and now there is no stopping me .
Talking about crafting as I am , I am actually here today because there is a new weekly challenge up and running  for  http://ttcrd.blogspot.com/ Just click on the link and join in . We would love to see your make .
