Brayering and embossing folder

Hi again . This is my 2nd posting for today . Please scroll down to first posting , after this,  and see what I have to brag about!

Tonight after making one of the kits for next Sunday's workshop , I recalled  some one asked me about brayering and the embossing folders .
This is the card  I am talking about . I like to reinforce a technique
shown at a workshop in another small way in another card  at the next workshop  so that I can be sure that everyone is confident with it . thus I have used 2 step stampin again . But for the background layer I have used the brayer.
I used a Provocraft embossing folder , woodgrain in appearance , the Big Shot,  Chocolate Chip ink , the brayer and some Creamy Caramel cardstock.

Ink the brayer   and roll over top part of folder till all covered . Then I placed cardstock in position and rolled through Big Shot in the usual way .

    Recipe..
Cardstock, Tempting Turquoise, Whisper White, Creamy Caramel.
Sets, Life Definitions, Botanical Blooms.
Ink, Rose Red , Chocolate  Chip                                             Rhinestone brads ,  Stampin' Dimensials all  above SU
Thank you for browsing here tonight and catch you again soon .
Cheers Shirley-Anne

  4. i love the look of the braying,do you put the ink card stright into the embossing folder while still wet,to get that effect,or wait until its dry,the effects look amazing,I would love to give it a go,but have to buy the embossing folder first, where did you buy yours, and was it expensive,or could you give me a place of where I can buy it from and a ph number, what is the embossing pad name. your works great, see you again soon on chatterfox.
